Percy's POV
Diagon Alley is definitely one of the stranger places I have been in my demigod life time. Everywhere you turn there is something new and interesting to look at I don't understand how the wizards can turn a blind eye to this amazing place. Hermione who is beside me turns to look at my expression of awe amusement shinning in her eyes. "Amazing isn't it?" I can only nod still amazed at my surroundings though I can't help but notice how tense everyone seems. They all seem on edge as if they are waiting for something to attack (They honestly look like demigods every second of the day).
I walk silently behind the others enjoying the controlled chaos around me. Suddenly the group stops walking and I being my oh so graceful self bump in to Harry. He turns around sending me a glare but I am to focused on the building in front of me. Its large and snow white (and the seven dwarves) made of smooth marble with pillars reaching impossible heights holding up the structure. In the very front are bronze dragons (I do not know if this is true correct me if I am wrong) and by the doors is a bronze plaque engraved with the words Fortius Quo Fidelius. "Strength in Loyalty." Mrs. Weasley turns at the sound of my voice "That is correct how did you know that." "Oh um I took Latin as a language class in school. I call that a fairly good lie the Stolls would be proud.
We start inside the building and walk up to the counter. Behind it is a small creature (not going to describe the goblins). "What can we do to help yo-". He abruptly stops speaking his eyes meeting mine. His stare is intense I get the feeling he is digging in to my soul. He smiles at me and then turns back to the others who are staring at me curiously.
Clearing her throat Mrs. Weasley speaks to the creature. "We would just like the keys to our safes if you don't mind." The thing nods "Yes yes of course come now just state your names and we will be off." Everyone steps forward telling their names to who I suppose is a bank teller of sorts. Once done the goblin (I asked Hermione she told me what they are) leads us to a cart in a dark tunnel and ushers all of us in to a small cart.
"Hang on." I turn towards Hermione "what does he mean han-". I'm cut of by the cart moving at breakneck speed. Being honest I don't exactly know how to feel about this. On the one hand it feels like another rollercoaster, but on the other hand underground is not somewhere I like.
The ride ends before I can decide how I feel about it. We stop in front of several vaults each member going in to what I can assume is their personal vault (so wizard banks work like regular banks except with tunnels and goblins cool). Once everyone is finished we pile back in the cart. The goblin pulls a lever flinging us lower in to the catacombs.
We stop outside an old vault. The door is bright red pilled with grime, rust, and dust. We stare at Zexon (I didn't notice his name tag before) in confusion. What could we possibly be doing here?
He slowly walks out of the cart and grabs my wrist pulling me out aswell. We walk up to the door and we stop. I expect him to pull out a key but he just stares at me. He opens his mouth and speaks in a low gravely voice almost a whisper "You must place your finger on panel for only the blood of the true heir will be able to open it."
Confused I do as asked of me and place my finger on the small panel in the middle of the door. I feel a slight prick in my skin. A searing pain travels through my hand as I quickly retract it from the panel. I stare in confusion and slight fear as small drops of blood fall out of my finger on to the dark stone floor. I turn back towards Zexon ready to demand an answer, but I see him staring in awe at the door.
