Chapter One: "Transferred to Hell!"

"What? This is what y'all called me in the living room for? I thought I'd done something slightly wrong, but no! Apparently I've done something much, much worse!" I shouted at my parents. "Come on! There's no way in hell you guys did that! You can't just go and pull someone out of school without their permission like that!"

"Valarie, we had no other choice. I mean, after what happened yesterday…you almost outed yourself, and your family too for that matter." My dad said to me, standing right in front of me, crossing his arms, and closing his eyes.

"He's right Val, in fact, had your father not been there to wipe those kids' minds; we would've been in some serious trouble." My mom said, still sitting down in her chair, acting as calm as ever.

"Alright, so I had one little accident, big deal!"

"Honey, summoning a bolt of lightning and setting some bushes on fire isn't a little thing, well, maybe it is to us, but to normal people like that, it's as unusual as it gets."

"Fine, so maybe it was a little too out of the ordinary, but, you wiped those kids' minds right? They don't remember anything that happened, so, why can't I go back now? I mean, I was able to the last time it happened."

"No Val, it's cutting a little too thin now. I've done this over fifteen times, and if I do it too much, those kids are going to end up having a lot of mental difficulties when they get older, or maybe sooner than that. I've reached my limits, I didn't really feel good about you going to this high school to begin with, and now we're going to do what I thought we should've done at the beginning, you will go to the Wizard Academy starting on Monday whether you like it or not, because, at the moment, that is where you belong."

"Wha…you can't-" I began to say, before my dad cut me off.

"The decision is already made.  It's for the best." My dad said.

"NO! It's completely unfair! Did y'all, even once, think about me before you two made that dumb decision? It's not for the best, I'll tell you what it is, it's complete and utter bullshit!" I shouted from the top of my lungs, quickly jumping out of my seat, and then turning around to glare at them.

"Valarie Amelia Brenner! Don't you speak to us in that manner! Did you not think even once think that we might not be doing this only for you, but for the entire family? Need I remind you what would happen if our secret got out into the open? It'd be horrible!" My dad shouted at me.

"So that's it? In order for our secret to stay hidden, I have to stay hidden?" I asked in an irritated tone of voice.

"Valarie, there's no other way." He said.

"Real nice guys" I said, walking away from them, and made my way up to my room, without saying anything else, and without letting either one of them say anything else either.

Once in my room, I walked over to my bed, and after I plopped down on it, I buried my face into my pillow.

Dumbass people…it seems like the only person around here, besides me, who has any sense, is Rachel and we're talking about my bratty younger sister here! Grrr! I need a break…a break, which, by the looks of it, doesn't even exist. Man, this is just stupid! And I just know that this dumb school is going to suck! I thought to myself, turning around onto my back, and resting my arm on my forehead.

Then again, who knows? It might not…no, I'm pretty sure it will. Dammit! I hate my stupid life…I thought to myself, yet again.

A couple of days later…
