"Frost Heart, where are you?" A young boy cried out inn the large building they called home.
(With Frost Heart)
She sat before a couple who was looking for a young daughter, but she didn't want to leave without her twin brother Shadow Knight.
"But I don't want to be adopted without my twin brother Shadow Knight," she shyly said in her chair.
"Sweetie we're sure he'll find a good home, but we just came for a daughter," the man said.
Frost Heart jumped out of her chair and the mist around her legs slowly faded showing her skates that she got due to her being a fusion Skylander. She started to skate around the room and a light frost covered where she skated.
"I'm sorry but I'm not going anywhere without my brother, but please have a nice night," she said skating out of the room.
She skated around until she got to her shared room and sat on her bunk. Shadow Knight sat on his bunk above hers and they spent most of their time there and they always refused to to be adopted by anyone who only wanted to adopt one of them.
"Another lonely night I suppose?" Shadow Knight asked her.
She nods and they go outside to the gate where they wave to the Skylanders who have just returned home. Frost Heart's white boxing gloves with gold skulls held onto the rails of the gate. Shadow Knight stood beside her, his paws tightly gripping the fence
It was a cold winters night that would have chilled anyone to the bone, but these children were fusion Skylanders and they were used to the bitter cold.
Since the temperature was so bone-chilling that most of the Skylanders didn't have time to stick around and talk to them. So to improvise they would wave goodnight to them and they would say goodnight back.
"Hey there," a voice said.
Shadow Knight gasped and they saw two Swapforce members standing at the gate.
"Hello," Frost Heart said with pep in her voice.
"Why are you children still outside it's freezing out here," Night Shift asked them.
"We're used to it sir," Frost Heart replied.
"How do you kids stand this weather," Freeze Blade asked, "it's cold even for me,"
Shadow Knight shrugged slightly and hears their care taker calling them inside for the night.
"We have to go now sirs, but we'll be back tomorrow night like we have for the last 7 years," Shadow Knight said sadly as they went inside.
Little did those kids know but one day they were going to leave those lonely nights behind.
