The next morning the two kids fell ill due to the orphanage workers heating up the building. Frost Heart was paler than she normally was, and Shadow Knight was weak.
Their care taker was trying to figure out how they got so sick in such a short amount of time. They moaned in protest as their caretaker tried to cover them up in more blankets, put warm towels on their foreheads, and/or other warming treatments.
Freeze Blade glided in on his skates and then fell ill once he was in the building. Night Shift saw how quickly he got ill and they go to the room the kids were stuck in. The care taker was trying more warming treatments out on them.
"Stop please they can't handle heat!" Night Shift shouted.
The care taker looked up and Freeze Blade glided slowly towards the kids. Freeze Blade looked them over and nodded to Night Shift.
"Do you think we could adopt these two kids?"
