But, he didn't want to come in between them. And besides, they've only been friends for such a short time. Tho in that short of a time, he had opened up to care for them. And he wanted to help Anna with her illness.
As he sat there, his chin resting on his clamped fingers of both hands, his pale amethyst eyes watched as Annalli slowly got herself under control. She slowly raised her head as she felt his eyes on her. When her face came up, Shen was surprised to see that she was calmly smiling back at him. Did she figured out what he was thinking?
Anna, as she sat there, knew that he was watching her. She felt even more embarrassed as she wonder what he was thinking of her. Only friends for a short time, for some reason, she was quickly drawn to his gentle shy natured self. Well, not as shy now, of all things. Shenri was a loner like his two best friends, Dev and Rafael. She remembered how they first met. She was trying to escape Gerryk after he noticed she was running a slight fever and demanded her to return to her room to rest. She was running around the corner of the school building when she accidentally ran into Shenri. If not for his quick reflexes, she'd fallen on her backside.
She quickly looked up to stare into the most amazing color eyes she have ever seen. Not only one set of amazing eyes, but three. She had quickly apologize to him and as she was about to do so to the other two, Gerryk had called out for her again. Closing in fast. She had flinched and tried to find a hinding spot. Shen and his friends quickly took action and he pulled her to the wall, lowered his face to hers as the other two stood on each side of them. It looked as if he was kissing a girl and he gently held both of her hands over his beating heart. She felt the rapped beat and saw the slight blush to his cheeks as they stood there waiting for Gerryk to come around the corner.
He had asked them if they've seen a small framed girl come running this way. The guy with the white hair told him yeah, but she ran on down the side and around the next corner. Gerryk, being slow in thinking at times, ran on.
When he was well on his wild goose chase, the 3 moved so she could step away from the wall. Shenri was about to apologize when she smiled at him. Held up a hand to forestall it.
"Thank you so much. I was getting tired running from that imbecile. He thinks he's my father ordering me around. Now I can go hide from him." At that they looked a bit surprised. She knew she had to explain, "sorry, I was a little ill earlier and he likes to blow things out of preportion. So he thinks ordering me to go home to rest was in my best interest. I just want to study peacefully so I don't fall behind." Not really understanding the situation, but Raf shrugged his shoulders as Dev nodded his head. Shenri took that time to introduce them to her. After telling her their names, told her that they were new there and could she point out the deans office. She gave her name and instead of telling them, took them there herself.
She later waved as she left them at the door of the office and told them if they ever needed anything, to let her know. She gave her classroom and said all they had to do was ask for her, everyone knew her and where she would be if not there. They thanked her and then went in.
They walked up to the secretary that was sitting at her desk as they came in, stood when they walked up to her desk. They introduced theirselves to her and with a genuine smile, she in turn gave her name and then after asking them to be seated, walked to the Deans office door and knocked on it twice. Opening it at the request, she walked in to let him know that the 3 new student's he was waiting on, were in the office. He told her to show them in and to bring some coffee and tea. She nodded her head and told the 3 to go on in, then lightly shutting the door behind her.
