(I had this chapter up before but I wanted to change/remove some things so I completely deleted it and I forgot the name I had put so if anyone is confused about having seen this chapter before with a different name this is the reason. 😊)
My uncle came to me with a man who was recommended by my grandmother, his name was Salman. My father one hundred percent wanted him as a son in law, but I on the other hand had no interest in him. He was MashAllah VERY good looking, good Muslim man, and was studying to be an engineer; but I knew right away from seeing him that I didn't want to marry him. Apparently everyone wanted him and some families had even said they would pay to get their daughter married to him (which is obviously wrong but happens a lot unfortunately). So while my dad really wanted him (as a son in law), so did my cousin (as a husband); which was another reason why I didn't want to marry him.
Alhamdulillah he turned out to like my cousin and now they are happily married MashAllah! ❤️
