A young man named Mustafa called my grandmother and said he wants to send a proposal to me and was asking for my fathers number. Of course my grandmother gave my fathers number to Mustafa. So a couple days later my dad received a call from him asking for my hand in marriage. Alhamdulillah we liked him, he ticked all the right boxes and we were wanting to continue. We sent pictures to him and he sent pictures to us. Alhamdulillah he was a very good looking man but on top of that he was a very good Muslim as well. He informed us that he has yet to finish school and he is in his last year so he doesn't want to take anything further until then, that was 4 months ago and we haven't heard anything from him since then. My dad has told me to get him out of my mind unless he wants to open it up again. Alhamdulillah I was fine with it because I knew if it was meant to be with Mustafa then Allah(SWT) would make it happen, and if it wasn't then it won't happen. It is all according to Allah's plan Alhamdulillah.
