34: awaken (Genos)

Genos pov:

She was sitting tied up in the chair with chains. Wrapped around so much she can barely move. To make it even worse, yui put electric trigger on her. She was too strong. Chains wouldn't hold her down that easily.

I took the chains off her.

She plunged towards me and went for the left side of my chest plucking out my metal armour. She then plucked out the wires " what the hell?!! No heart?!! What are you?!! "

She thought I was human.

Genos: I'm no human.

" I can see that!! You freak!!! How are you even alive? " she retreats away from me. To be honest, that hurt me a little. Not that I've never heard that before. It never bothered me. Just... It came from her. This pinching and sinking feeling... It hurts. At least... It proves I'm human...

Genos: I live on power. It's my core. I'm a cyborg.

Sairisu: cyborg... Gomenasai... I actually knew someone like that.

How can I even get through her?

I dodge to the left and grabbed onto her arm. She attempt to slice away the arm I held her with. I used my other arm and sacrificed that one " Sairisu!!! I'm genos!! "

She kicked me away " don't lie!! "

Genos: can't you recognise? My smell... That metal... That particular way my metal fingers and material it's made of? My... Voice?

My tears fell as I talked to her... Tears... Never thought I would even have them.

" don't lie to me!! " she came forward to me with a big blade wanting to cut me into half. There's no way I can hurt her. She sliced my other arm away and pushef me down with a smirk on her face " hehe. "

I guess it wouldn't be that bad... She's the one who gave me feelings... The one who made me feel human... Arigato... For making me feel human...

I guess my tears that flowed down touched her back of the hand. She looked at it " what... Is this? " she licked it " it can't be... " As if drying my tears, she used her finger and took some and lick some more " it is... " she got off me " what are you...? "

Genos: I'm genos.

Sairisu: genos? But your face...

She closed her eyes " genos... How did you even look like again? Genos... Genos... Really? Are you really Genos?!! "

Genos: I am.

" then... Then let me see your face. " her eyes open once again...

Sairisu pov:

Please... One more time. If he is really genos. He is genos right?

I open my eyes...
