The kiss was sloppy and inexperienced, it was obvious we both hadn't kissed many people in our lifetimes... or just not often. Well, I'll be honest and admit that Ironhide is the first person I have properly kissed and actually meant it.

We ended up breaking the kiss in the end and I breathed a tad heavier from it. Even thought the kiss felt comforting, it still didn't ease the sinking gut feeling away or the shattering pain in my heart.

I miss Nathan as it was and now I miss Aneska just as much. It hasn't even been that long, but I know they're forever gone. My heart clenched painfully at this. I miss Nathans cheeky grin and Aneskas passionate way of speaking.

Crap, I missed everything about them... their support... their company. I would bring them back to alive in a blink of an eye if I could, but I just can't.

I groaned out in agony when pain shot through my bruised and weakened frame. My body ached and I couldn't hide the pain from Ironhide at all. The black haired male grunted in dismay, instantly getting to his feet.

"That's it." Ironhide had enough of my stubborness. "I'm getting Ratchet."

"-but I'm fine!" I protested with a whine, even thought my voice betrayed me when it went to a high pitch of pain.

"Quit arguing with me." Ironhide's blue eyes narrowed down at me with annoyance. "I am your guardian, I am meant to look after you. Not let you sit in pain because you feel guilty that you're still alive."

I swallowed thickly at that. The truth hurt and I knew that was the truth. I did blame myself. I didn't understand how or why I was still alive. Maybe it was selfish thinking, but I just wished everyone would stop dying aroubd me.

"You sound like Sarah..." I defused the situation with a light hearted complaint. Pressing my face into the pillow, I nuzzled into the white pillow.

I had nothing against Ratchet, but I just didn't like taking tablets. I remembered when I was 7 and my dad tried to give me some when I was sick. They tasted disgusting and I ended up choking on them, I can easily remember spewing them up and all over my dads shoes.

My face scrunched up at the memory. Ew.

Ironhide sighed out loud, rubbing his face in slight frustration. "Hazel..." It didn't take much to annoy the Weapon Specalist, kinda made me wonder how he put up with me honestly and the human race.

If I was them, I would squish me, but I guess I would be a Decepticon, not an Autobot if I did that...

"What are you thinking about?" A different voice spoke up making me turn my head to see the familiar holoform of a blonde haired CMO.

I frowned at the holoform. "When did you get here?..." I raised an eyebrow slowly while muttering to the medic in confusion

I watched the medic walke towards me, his lab coat rustling as he did so. Ironhide leant against the wall across the room, staring at us with a blank expression. Obviously not impressed with me.

"'Hide Com-linked me. If you weren't spacing out, you would of heard me enter the med-bay. Ratchet informed me with a pointed look, he now stood beside the hospital bed I layed in.

"Oh." I said dumbly, blinking at him when he offered two small white tablets to me.

Ratchet stood there for what seemed to be 2 minutes, waiting for me to take it, before sighing out loud with annoyance. "Are you going to take it, or what?" he demanded, his turquoise eyes showing impatience.

"No?..." I squeaked out, smiling sheepishly at the blonde. "Unless you want me vomiting on you Ratchet."

Ratchet stared at me before his eyes seemed to go dull, Obviously researching 'vomiting.'. Ratchet pulled a face of disgust, before taking a step back and putting the tablets away instantly.

"Vomiting?" Ironhide questioned, not bothering to research it as he knew Ratchet would. The male stared at Ratchet for answers.

"It's like us when our tanks purge Ironhide." Ratchet said simply with a shrug. "Oh, The joy." Ironhide replied sarcastically, his holoform eyes rolling dramatically.

"Then how are we going to get rid of her pains? Ratchet.", Ironhide asked simply, shoving his hands in his military pants pockets in a swift movement.

"We can always inject a needle-"

"No! No way! You're not going near me with one of those sharp pointy torturous things while I am concious!" I snapped out, adrenaline instantly kicking in. I instantly curled into a ball in the furtherest corner of the hospital bed, away from both of the two stunned males.

Ratchet and Ironhide blinked at my sudden outburst. "Trypanophobia." Ratchet grumbled out after a bit of research, crossing his arms, his blonde hair rustling.

Ironhide blinked again trying to progress the long word. "Trying-pan-popia-ah, what?" Ironhide stumbled on the words, as his head tilted sideways.

Ratchet facepalmed, muttering some words in his native language, before looking up to glare at Ironhide.

"Trypanophobia." Ratchet repeated out ever so slowly. "Phobia of needles. Ironhide." Ratchet stated bluntly towards the Weapon Specialist whom replied with a dumbfound 'oh.'.

Ironhide grunted and looked over at me with a stern look. "Then what do we do? Leave her in pain?"

Ratchet scoffed at this as if Ironhide was an idiot. "Of course not! Mrs Lennox will look after her. She will make sure Hazel gets the rest she needs and the proper care." Ratchet paused as he brought out some notes to write down in them. "-I'll inform Mrs Lennox that warm baths and heat packs will ease the pain."

I slowly uncurled and looked between the pair. Although the two argued a lot and didn't seem eye to eye most of the time, they got along quite well when they wanted to. I hummed in thought as the CMO headslapped Ironhide for some unknown reason... wasn't really listening.

I looked at Ironhide where he was glaring daggers at the Medic. Ironhide had replied back with an sarcastic remark and at this point... I'm quite proud to say that I kissed an alien robot. The mech wasn't a bad kisser in all honesty and I couldn't judge myself...

"Hazel, What are you thinking about now?" Ratchet asked exasperated, focusing his attention on me again. My brown eyes met his turquoise ones.

"Ironhide" I hummed casually out loud without thinking properly as if thay was normal. In moments I realised what I had just said, instantly I felt a blush begin to creep on my cheeks, freezing on the spot at my recklessness.

Ironhide choked slightly at this, whatever remark he was about to say to the medic got demolished in seconds. The weapon specialist seemed to do an odd coughing and wheezing noise.

"I see." Ratchets lips twitched upwards, amusement shining in his old eyes like no tomorrow.

"Not that... I was like thinking about him... Yano? Just thinking. No- wait. I mean... uh... jeez..." I blabbered and stumbled with my words. So smooth Hazel. Give yourself a highfive to the face.

Ratchet rubbed his chin, humming, as if he was trying to entertain my stutters with pure mockery. "Oh really?"

"Ahuh. Yup- Don't you have places to be..." I eyed the CMO warily. The medic was obviously trying not to chuckle at my horrible attempts of having him forget what had just happened. Key word, trying.

"Trying to get rid of me, Miss Lennox?" Ratchet arched an eyebrow towards me, easily pointing out my failings of getting rid of him. The medics lips now slowly formed into a sly grin.

I huffed in annoyance at him mocking me. Embarrassed. "I think I hear Optimus calling your name."

Ratchet chuckled at me while rolling his blue eyes at my dramatic reply, before looking at the recovering Ironhide with slyness.

"So, You owe me some High Grade."
