Chapter 11: I'm gonna wish I had a Storm Warning
-June 16-
HUNTER'S P.O.V.
It was our day off. We had decided to go go carting, because there was a course and arcade just down the street from where we were staying. It was...a good time.
Bridget kicked my butt. Never knew how well she really COULD hold her own in a group of all boys.
It was an eventful day. Steve's cart kept stalling. Matt bumped Devin from behind who swerved into the cones surrounding the track and spun out. Later, Matt bumped Steve as well, who crashed into the pillar of the little mini bridge on the course. Matt ended up being escorted out of his cart and out of the course all together. Me and Bridget were in a race on the last lap and ended up going head on into one anther. Don't ask me how they even happened. For once, Sam was the good child, just cruising along at his own pace. So...long story short....we all ended up getting kicked out of the go carting course. I..don't think we'll be back there anyone soon.

-Webster Hall, New York, New York-
BRIDGET'S P.O.V.
"I can't believe it. New York. I've missed you..." I breathed in the New York air, stepping off my bus and meeting Hunter and the other guys in the middle of the parking lot.
"I'm finally home!" I exclaimed, jumping up and down like an over-active little kid.
"Wait, you're from here?" Sam asked, looking confused.
"Well I'm from this state, yes." Everyone "oooohed", except Hunter who already knew. He just kind of stood there with an idiotic grin on his face.
"What're you smiling about over there?"
He glanced over at the other guys, which made me question all of them. "Nothing you need to worry about." Sam quickly reassured me. Problem was, I wasn't so assured they were telling me the truth. Just by the way they eyed one another. I shook it off quickly, though. Nothing I needed to worry about, right?
"Ok, so we have our next show tonight, at Webster Hall, as you all know. I'm leaving the song choice up to you, like usual. Bridget, I want you in for 3 or 4 songs tonight, if that's alright. Which ones doesn't matter, that's up to you and a Hunter." We all nodded as Dan gave us the run down for tonight. "Just go up there and leave it all on the stage, like you always do. You're on at 8. You'll play until about 9:30, get washed up, and they'll have a meet and greet set up inside. You'll have the day off until 7. Be there for soundcheck then, alright?"
We all nodded and said our "ok's", before heading off our separate ways. I turned to Hunter.
"So what now?" I asked.
"...Starbucks?"
"I like your ideas."
************** -7:30: Soundcheck-
"Maybe this is something I'll be never be...but I'll be right here, til you tell me...."
I turned to Hunter, a slow smile forming on my face.
"You guys sounded great!"
Dan clapped for a second, motioning for us to hop off the stage. "Thank you!"
"It's weird how amazing your voices sound together. I never would have expected that."
"Same here. It's actually weird to be performing WITH someone. I'm so used to....riding solo, I'll admit, it does feel a little strange."
