'The dullest person becomes interesting if you feel that he is really himself, that he is not holding up some absurd shield or other in front of his shivering soul.'

Chapter Six~
*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*
I tried to roll over to turn off the alarm clock, but a pair of arms that were tightly wrapped around my waist wouldn't let go.
"Don't get out of bed," Colson whined into my neck, "stay here and cuddle with me."
His warm breath on my neck tickles, causing me to giggle. "I have to get up."
I try to pull away, but he just pulls me closer, if that's possible. "Why?"
"Because I want to go run," I say and turn to face him. I run my fingers through his hair.
"Will you scratch my back?" He asks. I laugh and he turns to lay on his stomach. I sit on his butt and scratch his back. We're weird like that.
I start to get off of him, "Where are you going?!? My back still itches!"
I laugh, "I'm getting lotion. Your back is really dry."
He smiles, "Oh, okay. Get the good smelling one. The one you use all the time."
I go into the bathroom and grab my Japanese cherry blossom lotion, "This one?" I ask holding the bottle up. He nods his head, I laugh at him.
I go back to sitting on his butt, and I rub lotion onto his back. "We are really weird people."
He laughs weirdly, probably because he's on his stomach. When I was done rubbing lotion on his back, he flips over to where I'm straddling his pelvic region. I squirm uncomfortably.
He just lays there smiling at me.
"What?" I ask.
He shakes his head, "Nothin. Pres.. I-" he stops himself.
"You what?"
He just shakes his head, "Shit. I don't know. I don't remember what I was gonna say." He scoots me off of him and goes into the bathroom. Well that was awkward.
I got dressed in running shorts and a tank top. I threw my hair into a ponytail, grabbed my phone and earphones and ran downstairs. On my way down I ran into JP.
"Hey, going running?" He asks.
I roll my eyes and smile, "Obviously."
"Can I join you?" I nod my head, "Sure!"
He goes into his room and comes back out in black basketball shorts and bright, orange Nike Zoom Lebron 9's (Amazing shoe btw), his matching orange boxers showing at the top of his shorts.
"No shirt?" I ask.
"It's too hot for that," he says. "It's 6 o'clock in the morning. It's like 50 degrees out.."
"Oh well," he shrugs his shoulders and starts walking outside, I follow him. Right when we get to the sidewalk I take off running.
"Wait for me!" JP yells. I don't slow down though.
I love running, but Colson hates that I run. He says that I workout too much and that I never have time for him. And he gets mad when I don't eat, I don't have time to. I'm always doing something, whether its cleaning the house, buying groceries, I never have time to sit down and eat.
I'd been running for a good 45 minutes and I decided to turn around. I didn't see JP behind me. I couldn't have gotten that far ahead of him.
I started running back and about halfway back to the house I found JP, laying on a bench.
