The Rebellion (featuring Heroes of Olympus characters)

Chapter 2: The Rebels

     This morning I made a plan to give a secret note to Jason in biology class without anyone seeing it. Telling him to meet me after biology class behind the school. 

      When I arrive at school I see all kinds of groups like the nerds, jocks, cheerleaders, and the group I hate the most is Octavian's group. Octavian is such a creep. They pretty much worship Gaea, the leader of the Red Hawks. They bully you and if they saw you with the rebels they will chase after you and turn you in. Even if you insulted them they will beat you up.

      When I got off the bus I saw two girls waiting for me, one with blonde hair and stormy gray eyes is Annabeth Chase and the the other girl with shoulder length brown cinnamon hair with gold eyes is Hazel Levesque, my two best friends. "Hey, I need to tell you guys something that happened yesterday."

"Is everything okay," Annabeth curiously asks me.

"Here lets go somewhere else where not a lot of people are around."

     They both nod and followed me behind the school where no one will see or hear us. "What's wrong,"Hazel asks.  Making sure know one is around I finally said,"You guys know how we always wanted to join the rebels?"

"Yeah," they both say at the same time.

"Well yesterday I forgot my writing notebook in English class and on my way I heard people talking in a classroom saying they were going to steal weapons that arrive at the depot that night."

 Hazel asked,"Do you know who was in the classroom?"

"Yeah it's Jason Grace, Percy Jackson, and Frank Zhang and by the looks of it they are the leaders."

"Were you able to hear what time they were going?"

"No. Jason was about to say what time and where to meet but then they heard me. I was trying to get in a better position but then I accidentally hit the wall. So they went outside of the classroom, but thankfully they didn't see me because they would have thought I was a spy for the Red Hawks. When they didn't see anyone they left and Frank said to go to headquarters."

     "Yeah. Then we would have lost our chance to become a rebel and probably take you to their headquarters,"Annabeth said. "While we are talking about Percy Jackson," Annabeth said while blushing. "I like him," with a smile on her face. 

"I like Frank Zhang," Hazel said with a smile on her face.

"How did you guys know them?"

Annabeth said,"I have reading class with Percy."

"I have math class with Frank."

"Oh. Since I have Biology class with Jason I will write a note saying to meet me outside behind the school.Then I'll talk to him about letting us join."

"Okay we better get going the bell is going to ring," Annabeth said while walking fast. She loves school.

     Before we can enter we have to take our ID out and show it to security. Before we entered I heard Hazel say under her breath,"I hate the red hawks." I looked at her and looked around to make sure no one heard her. If people heard what she said that they would think she is a rebel and take her away. I walked to class and thinking it's going to be another boring day of school. 

Jasons POV:

     Stealing the weapons last night and not losing anyone is great. We now have more gun power. I was sitting in the cafeteria with Reyna, my beautiful girlfriend. We have been a couple since seventh grade. I like her a lot but, not like I used to anymore. My dad Zeus, has always been hard on me to go to a great college and become some kind of powerful person and be with someone who has a wealthy family like Reyna. 

     We have been couple for a long time, but I don't like her that way anymore. I just want to be friends but I don't know how to tell her. My dad doesn't even know I am a rebel. He sometimes think I'm with Reyna or my friends but I'm not.

Reyna noticed I was thinking hard and asked,"What are you thinking about?"

"Oh I'm just thinking about what I have for homework."  I lied.

"Okay. Well we better get to class the bell is about to ring."

     I said bye to my friends and Reyna and walked to my class. I have P.E.  I love this class, it's the only one I look forward to all day. Also Percy and Frank is in my class so I can talk to them about rebel stuff. 

     I walk into the gym already in my work out clothes and see Frank and Percy stretching already.  "Hey," I said while walking to them. "Was up," they both say at the same time.

"Anything interesting going to happen at HQ?"

"Nah, not really just training the newbies," Percy said with a mischievous grin on his face.

"What's that look on your face?"

"Well you know how the newbies are fun to mess around with," Percy said while Frank and Jason started laughing.

    After we stopped laughing Frank asked,"Who do you think we heard outside the classroom?" Percy was thinking for a long time and finally said,"Maybe someone was spying on us for the Red Hawks or someone was passing by and fell or something.

"Just to be sure do you guys have a weapon with you like we talked about at headquarters?"
"Yeah," Frank and Percy said at the same time.

     After our conversation our coach named Gleeson Hedge.  Told us that we are going to play dodge ball.  Yay we are going to play my favorite game!  I always thought that he was crazy person.  He always likes violence especially when is dodge ball he thinks it's the survival of the fittest. He would tell us welcome ladies and gentlemen it's going to be a team death match or hit that sucker as hard as you can!  But anyways it's fun.

     After P.E.  I had Biology class. I think its interesting but sometimes boring.  I walk into class and sit at my assigned seat.  The teacher is talking  about how frogs are born and stuff which went really fast.  Then we had a pop quiz about how much we paid attention to the lesson and everyone complained.  Ten minutes went by and we had to turn in our pop quiz because the end of school bell was about to ring.  I was about to get up from my seat when I got a mysterious note.  I notice it was the girl who sat behind me named Piper who dropped it.  On the front of the note it said:

Read it

I open the note and it said:

Jason I know you are one of the leaders for the rebels. Meet me outside behind the school if you don't want your cover blown.

     Oh my god.  She knows that I am the leader of the rebels.  But she said one of the leaders.  She knows that Percy and Frank are leaders too.  I bet she is the one we heard outside the classroom.  She is working for the Red Hawks.  The bell rings and I get my stuff with my knife in my hand.
