Chapter 6: The Truth

Piper's POV:

Once they put a bag over my head and had my arms, I struggled to get free. I heard Annabeth and Hazel struggle to get free. I kicked the guy in the shin and when he loosened his grip I kick him where no guy would ever want to get kicked. He let go and bend over. I took the bag off my head and ran as fast as I can. 

I was about to make a turn when a guy blocked my path. I turned around but before I can take another step he pinned me to the ground. He turned me over and I tried to punch him. He grabbed my arm before my fist could touch his face. He grabbed both of my arms with one hand and used his other hand to put a cloth against my mouth. I inhaled the smell of the cloth trying to breath in fresh air. Once I inhaled the smell my vision started to get blurry. The next minute my vision is black.

Annabeth's POV:

I kicked the guy in the stomach hard enough to knock the wind out of him. I got the bag off of my head but when I was about to take a run for it someone got their arms around my chest and put a rag over my mouth. I tried to to take their hand off my mouth but he was too strong. I inhaled the smell of the rag trying to breath. Whoever was holding me captive noticed I began to calm down. He started to lower me to the ground. I could't figure out who he was because my vision started to get blurry but he started to stroke my hair. Before I blacked out I heard him whisper these words, "I'm sorry Annabeth."

Percy?

Hazel's POV:

I fought to get freed from who ever was holding me. After a few minutes someone yells," Gag her!" He rips the bag off my head and turns me around. I face him. He gets his hand holding a rag and puts it on my mouth. I inhale the awful smell trying to get the rag off my mouth then slowly my vision gets blurry. The same guy picks me up and sits me on the floor of some van next to Annabeth and Piper.

I see that they already knocked them out with a piece of cloth over their eyes and hands tied behind their backs. I turn to look ahead of me trying to move my limbs to some how get my best friends out of here. Then a guy is standing in front of me. I couldn't lift my head to see who it is. Then he bends downs and I notice it's Frank. The guy who I've liked forever, who is kind and sweet. But I'm not sure anymore. Maybe there was misunderstanding about this whole situation. He looks at me with a sorry look in his eye holding rope and a bandanna. The last thing I saw is Frank reaching over to put the bandanna over my eyes.

Piper's POV:

I woke to the sound of something rattling. I open my eyes but see something covering it. I try to move my hands but there are tied behind my back. I try to feel my surroundings. I feel the cold metal floor. It feels like we are in a car. I shout not knowing there are other people in the car,"Annabeth, Hazel where are you!"

"We're here," they both shout.

I hear Jason,"Piper, Hazel, and Annabeth don't worry we are just making... precautions."

"It sure doesn't seem like it. Where are you taking us?"

"To our head quarters. We are almost there." 

I feel the car starting to slow down then it stops. I hear the doors opening feeling the sunlight on my face. Suddenly a pair of arms lift me up. I hear Jason,"Don't try anything, we will do the same thing we did last time to you three."

Right after we step out of the car. I feel us walking into a building. Then suddenly I hear something loud. We walk into something what feels like an elevator. I feel us dropping down then stop. I hear the doors slide open. We walk into a loud room. Jason yells,"It's safe to take off their blind folds." The guy who was holding me took off my blind fold. I turn around to see Hazel and Annabeth getting their blind folds taken off by Percy and Frank. They both looked at the floor looking mad. 

Annabeth ignoring Percy who is right in front of her asks,"What are you guys going to do to us?"

Jason answers,"We are going to give you the truth medicine to see if you are lying."

"How can you tell if we are lying."

"You'll see."

"What happens if we are telling the truth?"

"You might join us."

"What happens if we are lying?"

"There will be some consequences."

"Oh."

We continue to walk. We walked into a big room. Jason stops us and said,"If you three want to join us we have to give you the truth medicine." He gets a syringe with yellow fluid in it. "Who wants to go first?"

I need to go first. I'm the one who told Annabeth and Hazel about the rebels. I raise my hand up," I'll go first. So how does this work?"

"I'll put this needle in your neck. After a minute it will take effect. What ever question we ask you the truth medicine with make you answer truth fully."

"Okay," I say. I walk over to him. He directs me to a chair in the middle of the room. I sit down.

"Tilt your head."

He moves my hair away from my neck then injects the fluid inside me. Surprisingly it didn't hurt that bad. After a minute passes my head starts to feel weird. Jason sits down with Percy and Frank beside him. He stares at me knowing the truth medicine is already taking effect.

"Do you work for the Red Hawks?"

"No," when I answered with no hesitation and it felt like someone put a spell on me. Also like someone was controlling my mind, knowing my every thought and every secret.

"Has anyone in your family worked for the Red Hawks?"

"No. My family will never work for the Red Hawks."

"Have they worked for anyone else."

"My dad and mom used to work for the rebels."

"Why did your parents stop working for the Rebels?"

"Because my mom died. After my mom died my dad quit."

"How did your mom die?"

"I don't know he won't tell me."

"Do you know what she died for?"

"I think she found out a dangerous secret and tried to tell the rebels but got killed before she had the chance," I started to feel a tear come down my face. I started to feel the truth medicine wearing off. They told me I was done and told Annabeth to come next. They did the same thing to Annabeth then to Hazel.

     After they were done with Hazel the three leaders went to a different room to talk about if they sure let us join. What seemed like forever they finally came out. Jason cleared his throat and finally said,"Welcome to the Rebels."

Tell me what you think about the story so far and how I can make it better. This is my first story as you can probably tell but I would really for you guys to comment and maybe even get me a few stars. I guess that's what you guys call it I don't remember so yeah. I will try to make another chapter soon. Bye!
