Chapter 24

Seer huffed in a big deep breath as she lied her head down on the table next to Harry who was somehow keeping his eyes opened.

Ron sat over in a corner snoring as loud as he could, it seemed. Seer's eyes were becoming heavier as she tried her best to keep them open. She looked at Harry and yawned.

"How long have we been here?" She sighed.

"Just three hours," Hermione ran in reading a book,"you know you wouldn't have to be here if you found out how to work that egg!"

"Hey, do you know what to do with it Hermione?" Seer said annoyingly. She was not the person you wanted to make tired and fight with.

Hermione sighed as Seer lied her head down on the desk. She silently hummed a song as Harry rubbed his eyes.

"Hermione, how about we do this tomorrow? Celia's falling asleep, Ron is asleep, you look like you're fixing to pass out, and I'm about just to fall in the floor and sleep," Harry said as Seer nodded at Hermione groggily.

"I guess, just for tomorrow," she sighed as Seer grinned and somehow got off the desk and drug herself to bed. Today had been a long day. She lied on her side and breathed in a deep breath as someone knocked at the door. Nobody was in her room was awake at the moment she groaned.

"Come in!" She mumbled as the door opened. The door opened as John stood in the doorway.

He smiled and walked over to her.

"Had a good day?" He smirked.

"Not really, Hermione, Harry, Ron and I were at the library for three hours this afternoon," she said dreading opening her eyes.

"Oh," he let out a short laugh as she sighed.

"So, why are you here?" She yawned.

"I just wanted to see you," he smiled.

"Well, you're gonna see me fall asleep in a moment if you stay in here," she laughed as he let out a short laugh.

He grinned as she rolled her eyes and pushed him.

"I'm not kidding, I have been studying with Hermione for three hours," she groaned.

"You think that's something, go work for Dumbledore for a day," he smirked as she yawned,"budge up a bit."

She scooted over as he lied next to her. From her bed you could see out the window at the stars. She lied her head on his shoulder as they looked out. She could remember doing this back on Gallifrey but with another boy for her to prop her feet on.

"You miss it don't you?" She sighed not taking her gaze off the beautiful view.

"Very," he sighed. She could still remember looking into the vortex. She was chosen like the man who was lying next to her. She could remember the sky, the color was beautiful to her. Everything there was.

Seer soon jumped as Ginny shook in her sleep.

The Doctor held her close as he smiled. Soon the door opened as Hermione walked in she looked over at Seer's bed and laughed.

"Don't do anything stupid you two!" She yawned as she lied down on her bed and fell fast asleep.

Seer grinned and nuzzled her head into his chest as he looked down at her. He grinned and held her close. He twirled the ends of her hair. He could feel the potion wearing off as his prickly spiked hair came back. He watched out the window. They began to look for shooting stars as Seer pointed to one.

"Did you see it?" She smiled.

"Yeah," he grinned.

They both found it beautiful. Shooting stars, planets, other races. Everything.
