Layla's P.O.V
I said bye to my best friend then we were on the road - my mom, dad, brother, and I. This has literally been the worst day ever but I won't let them know that. It would be for the best if we move. I just plugged in my headphones until we got to the airport. I was listening to I Heart radio, all of a sudden"Stitches" came on. I don't really like those Magcon boys but that kid Shawn can sing. I silently hummed along until we got to the airport. We went through check in and finally boarded the plane.
"How you doing Hun?", my mother asked. "I'm fine, were moving for the best. I understand." She hugged me knowing I was still a little sad. My brother came over to me. "What you doing Bup?" "Stop calling me that, c'mon I was like 8 months that was the only thing I could say." "Whatever you say Bup". My brother Xavier was very protective and would do anything for me. I'm protective over him too and would do anything for him. The pilot announced to turn of all devices but being the savage I am I low key kept my phone on airplane mode. The plane finally took off and I instantly fell asleep.
"Wake up Layla we're here." My dad lightly shook me. I got up and reached for my carry on but since I'm not that tall my brother had to get it. We finally got in the car and drove to our new house. Everything was shipped there last week so we didn't have to worry about luggage. We pulled up to the house and it was really big. I ran inside and looked at all the rooms, they were all pretty huge but my parents had to get the biggest one so I took the second biggest. I set down my carry on so they would know it's my room and went to go get my boxes in the living room. After I got them I started unpacking so I could get get it over with - I was finished by 8 o' clock. My mom came in the room "Nice job sweetie, did I forget to tell you guys that y'all start school tomorrow?" "TOMORROW?!" I exclaimed. She giggled "Sorry sweetie, I'm gonna go tell your brother." "Alright, I'm gonna go to bed now goodnight." I went and took a shower then put on shorts and a t-shirt. Lastly I put my phone on the charger then fell asleep.
