Chapter 8: Lunch Time Commotion II

*Daniel's P.O.V*
I just reached the school and I went behind the building so I could meet Layla. I'm going too ask her to be my girlfriend, she's more than likely gonna say yes and I'm pretty sure she's going to want to spend the whole day with me. That means I have to reschedule my date with Shayla. Yes, I am what you would call a fuckboy, the reason why I do it is because I've been hurt and others deserve to be hurt too.

I have about ten minutes until Layla gets here so I'll text Shayla telling her to reschedule. Babe, I'm so sorry my moms grounding me for an extra day so I can't do anything after school.

"Babe!," I turn around to see Hayes Grier standing there.
"That wasn't Layla you were talking to Daniel," he said very angrily.
"Why do you care it's not like your ever gonna be with her," I spat at him.
"Doesn't matter she's still my friend," he yelled at me.
"Whatever your word against mine," I said calmly.

*Hayes' P.O.V*
I walked away from Daniel then down to the main entrance. I spotted Layla and ran to her.
"Layla don't go over to Daniel he's just gonna play you," I told her with one breath.
She rolled her eyes, "Did my brother put this nonsense into your head?" She asked
"No, I didn't even know your brother knew about that," I replied.
"So what are you jealous?, Hayes I understand that you like me but I'm not sure if I like you. You can't hold me back from other boys. I like Daniel and if he asks me out I'm gonna say yes. He's been treating me way better than you have for the past week." She walked away leaving me there speechless.

*Layla's P.O.V*
I walked away from Hayes so I could go meet Daniel.
"Hey gorgeous," he said while giving me a hug.
I couldn't help but blush at his comment. "Hey," I said while returning the hug.
"So why did you wanna meet me here?" I asked.
"Listen, Layla when I first saw you I just knew that you had to be mine. Your so beautiful, smart, and caring. Do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked.
I couldn't help but notice it sounded like he's said this about 50 times before, but I just shrugged that off.

"Yes, I would love to be your girlfriend," I said smiling.
He leaned me against the wall and started kissing me but I didn't feel anything like what I felt with Hayes. He squeezed my butt causing me to gasp and he slipped his tongue inside my mouth. The kiss started to get heated so I removed my lips from his.
"C'mon lets get to class," I said while holding out my hand. He took it and we started going.

"Ms.Brown and Mr.Levi nice of you to finally show up," Our history teacher Mr. Harrison complained.
"Ooo," the whole class said.
"Sorry, Mr. Harrison won't happen again," I replied.

3 periods later finally Daniel and I got to lunch, I decided to sit with him because he's my boyfriend and I'm his girlfriend.

I could feel about 10 pairs of eyes on me when I sat with Daniel.

"Guys this is Layla, Layla this is guys," Daniel said.

"Well us guys have names," Someone with green eyes and black hair said.

"I'm Logan," he said.

"I'm Nathan," One with blue eyes and blond hair said.

"Tyler," One with Hazel eyes and Brunette hair said.

"Layla," I said mocking them.

They chuckled and we all started to eat. I looked behind me and saw Hayes with his head down while Matt was comforting him.

*Hayes P.O.V*

I walked to Lunch with my head down and sat down at our table. I just don't want Layla to get hurt plus I really like her. I'm gonna break up with Danielle, what Layla said last night after we kissed got me thinking. Danielle is a really bad person I don't wanna be with someone like that. I wanna be with Layla.

"Hey, have any of y'all seen my sister?" Xavier asked. "Not since this morning, she was with Daniel" I cringed at the thought.

I saw Xavier tense up, he really does not like that kid. I should have known when he kicked Daniel out of their house.

"Look there she is," Gilinsky said. We all looked up and what I saw broke my heart. She was serious when she said if Daniel asks her out she would say yes.

I touched my cheek and felt something wet I then touched my other one felt something wet. Is it raining?, I looked up and saw the sunny sky. I then realized that I was crying, wow I really fell hard for this girl.

I put my head down cause I didn't want to let the guys see me cry but I guess I was too late. Matt started rubbing my back, I'm thankful to have him as a friend.

*Shayla's P.O.V*
I can't believe this happened again, I decided to walk to Daniel's building and see what's going on. I don't think I can trust him, I want too but I don't think I can.

I walked over to his building and into the cafeteria I looked to my left and saw him chilling with his friends. Oh wow, I was worried for no reason.

I walked back to my building.

*Layla's P.O.V*

I walked over to Hayes' table to see why he was crying.

"Hey guys," I said.
"Go away," I heard a muffled voice, I looked down and saw Hayes.
"Excuse me?," I had to make sure I was hearing right.
"You heard me, he's just gonna break your heart and when he does don't come to me,".
"I wasn't gonna come to you even if that happened," I smirked at my comment.
"Bitch!" He yelled causing the whole lunchroom to become silent and look at us.
"Asshole!," I yelled back.
"Cunt!,"
"Dick!,"
"Whore!," That one really hurt. I looked over and saw Daniel about to get up but Logan told him to sit down.

"Brown and Grier, to my office now," Our principal yelled.
