Chapter 4: A Completely Different Hayes

I woke up to screaming, so I quickly ran downstairs but tripped over a penny board.

"Are you ok?" I could hear someone ask but holding themselves from laughing. "Dude we got that on the vine!," I hear someone yell. I looked up and saw the all the boys except Hayes, thank god.

"Good Morning guys," I said getting up from the floor. "Layla can we pleeeaaaassssseeeee upload this?" Matthew asked while showing me the
phone. "Sure, whatever," I replied. They uploaded the video to vine and I went upstairs to change.

I put on gray joggers a mint green muscle tee and mint green vans. I brushed my teeth then put my hair into a low side ponytail. I went back downstairs and saw the boys getting ready to leave.

"Where y'all going?" I asked "Where gonna show your brother around town," Taylor replied "Wanna come with," He added on. "Sure." I got my phone, some money, and my penny board. We all started riding and to be honest I think we looked pretty cool since we were in a big group.

10 minutes later we all came to a stop. There was a really big mall standing in front of me. I had my mouth open but immediately shut it as soon as I saw Hayes walk out. I texted my brother.

L: Why is he here?
X: I texted him when we got home and ask why he did what he did he said that he didn't want to but his girlfriend basically made him.
L: How could she have made him do that?
X: He said while you roasted her she started to glare at him when he didn't defend her, he felt really bad about it after.
L: Whatever I'm still not talking to him.

We walked into the mall and started going to almost every store. We walked out of Pacsun and all of a sudden I heard. "Omg it's Magcon!", a girl screamed. That attracted a couple more girls so about 25 were there. Just like at school I was getting glares again, you've got to be kidding. The girls started tweeting were the boys were and about 50 more showed up.

"This is not safe!" I heard Shawn say "Agreed", Aaron said. People started to push so Cameron yelled something but I couldn't really hear, then all of a sudden I felt someone pull me causing me to run. I heard about 20 footsteps behind us. We ran into a random store.

"What the hell Hayes!!". "Did you not hear Cameron?, he said split up." He answered "Oh sorry", I replied. I looked down and saw we were still holding hands I quickly let go and started walking around.

"Damn these boots are cute!", I whisper yelled. " Yeah they're alright", I hear Hayes say from behind. I looked down at the price "$150 dang it I only have $45 on me", I said pretty much to no one. "I got you, think of it as a Sorry present",Hayes said. "What no it's fine I can come back and buy it tomorrow." " I insist what I did yesterday was wrong." He actually looked sincere. "Oh ok, thanks", I replied.

He bought the shoes and we went out the store making sure the coast was clear, Nash put us in a group chat and told us to try and find our ways to the front entrance. Hayes and I got there without being noticed, thank god. We rode back to my house and went inside. I really had to pee so I used the downstairs bathroom. While the boys and Mahogany went into the living room. I went to my room. I was startled when I saw a figure in my room but realized it was Hayes.

"Umm what you doing in my room?" I asked. "Looking at you when you were a baby, you were adorable, what happened", He said while laughing. "Shut up", I joined his laugh. "Wanna play 20 questions?" he asked. "Sure."

I laid down in the middle of my floor and he did the same but his body was going the opposite direction, but our heads were touching.

First we started with the cliche questions.

"Favorite color?", He asked
"Lavender, how about you?"
"Baby Blue", he answered.
"Birthday?", I asked
"June 8,2000".
April 2,2000."
"Favorite Subject?", he asked.
"Science, it's so cool I love all of the sections of it, especially Organic Chemistry", I was rambling on. Hayes was just smiling at me. "Sorry, I keep rambling on and on." "No it's fine, i think it's cute that you care so much", I started to blush. "Thanks."
"What's your favorite subject?" I asked him.
"Drama, I wanna grow up to be an actor," He said very happily. I could see the glisten in his eye.

We went through some more cliche questions and Nash came in saying they have to go.
"Oh wow it's 10 pm," I said to them "Yeah we were wondering what y'all have been doing for 6 hours?" Nash asked "Just talking", Hayes said. "Alright bye guys see you soon," I waved goodbye and left they left my room to leave the house.

I went to the bathroom to take a shower, while I was in there for someone reason I couldn't stop thinking about Hayes. He was definitely not the same person he was yesterday. I got out the shower got dressed then went to bed.
