Chapter 50

HARRY'S POV :

Later that day after gift - shopping, I went back home and luckily sky wasn't back yet.

I think I had enough time for setting up the table and getting dinner ready since sky was gonna be here in like 2hours.

I took of my coat and shoes singe it was really cold Outside, I wore my slippers and headed for the kitchen.

Sky's favourite meal that I make was White sauce Pasta with chicken slices, and it was as easy as breathing for me.

My mum used to take me with her to the kitchen that why I can cook.

After I put the pasta in the container and left it to Boil, I started chopping thin slices of fresh cut chicken.

30 minutes later I was done, only the dessert was left, I tried t think about a dessert that she couldn't resist so she wouldn't go with the 'I'm full' shit.

I decided to go with a tart,just a simple one.

I finished and let it cool down then I went upstairs to Change, there was No way I would go down with smudged shirt.

I wore a white dress shirt, black tight jeans, and my brown leather boots.

I decided to go and buy some flowers form the flower  shop down the street.

I locked the door behind me and walked down the street hoping I wouldn't find her on her way to the house.

I went up to the aisle and scanned some dozens of flowers.

The shop keeper came up to me, he was an old man.

"Girlfriend?" He nicely asked.
"Yeah" I said politely.
"Birthday or anniversary?"
"Anniversary" I smiled.

He smiled showing his crooked Teath, I think he was in his 60 ' s.

He picked up a dozen of purple tulips covered with a nice looking bouquet and handed them to me.

"I think she will love this, my wife used to love them so much" he sighed and smiled.

"Really? Do you still get her some" I curiously asked.
He looked at the flowers "She is dead, but I hope she is in a better place" he smiled kindly and I was kinda sorry for him.
"Oh..sorry for your loss. How much are these?" I referred to the flowers.

"10 dolars" he said.
I grabbed 15 out of my wallet and handed them to the old guy.

I smiled and said thank you and left.

As I walked I imagined me and sky being old togther and how I would still bring her flowers..How cheesy is that..?

I saw her down the street but thank god she couldn't see me so I quickly unlocked the house and I put the flowers down and checked if everything was okay and I set the table neatly and I put the gift beside the flowers and hoped she would like this.

Sky was simple, she wouldn't want a big surprise, just something simple and eachothers presence was all she needed.

I heard the keys juggling and the door slowly opened.
