Chapter 3

I would like to dedicate this to katrocks247 because she is the best author I have ever read the books of. I don't care, you need to just drop my book and go read everything of hers because she is utterly perfect.

She has tears on her face, no makeup on and she's dressed in sweatpants and a tank top. I've never seen her so dressed down.

The girls brother walks in behind my mother, holding two cups of coffee.

"Here, Izabel, drink up. Knowing you, you'll stay here until you hear something" he hands her a cup, keeping one for himself. He then takes the seat between her and my brother.

Sure enough, she stays all night, until a doctor comes in. Considering I'm still here, I know the news won't be good, so I decide to listen in.

"Family of Adam Foster?" He calls.

She's out of her seat before my mother or Jack.

Once everyone is around the doctor, he gives the news.

"Due to the blood loss, we had to put him into an induced coma," the doctor tells them all.

"Will he be alright?" Izabel asks.

"He should be. His vitals are looking great. We've given him medicine to speed his red blood cells reproduction," the doctor explains.

"Can we see him?" She asks.

"Of course, just only do it two at a time. If he awakens we don't want him to go into shock by the amount of people in the room."

"Alright, you guys go first, you are his family. I'm gonna go down to the cafeteria for more coffee, would you like anything?" Izabel asks.

"No, thank you" Jack says as my mom shakes her head no.

I feel the need to follow her, rather than following my family into the room, so I do.

She gets her coffee and sits at a table by herself, so I sit with her. She lets out a sigh, and rests her head in her hands.

I feel the need to console her, but I can't.

After a few moments, she stands and walks back to the waiting room.

I decide to see what my family is doing inside the room. It would also be nice to see what is happening to me in there, though that thought worries me.

What I see when I walk in angers me beyond belief.

Hello, there!

How is everyone doing today?

I'm doing great. I don't have to go into work until 4:00 and I've been lazy all day, though I should be getting ready for work soon. Eh, it can wait.

Oh yeah! The idea behind the "coma" is that he was put into a medically induced coma from the amount of blood loss. If that makes any sense at all...

So, please tell me what you think of this chapter. It's longer than the last chapter, so I hope nobodies mad about how short that one was.
