Introduction: Something Different

"This calls for a party!!!" Pinkie Pie had shouted right after the ceremony. And as usual, Pinkie had started a party with lots of ponies. Some, however, decided to not come and just go home for a nights' sleep. By now, night had fallen like normal. Celestia lowers the sun and then Luna raises the moon. Or at least it was assumed. All the window curtains of Pinkie's house were shut tight so that the place was dark. She thought it would be creative to do that so she could do neon as her party theme. It was working quite nicely. Everypony danced to the upbeat music with their glowing lights around their hooves and necks. Pinkie of course, enjoyed it the most. She leaped and cheered with laughter while flowing with the music's beat. Her and the rest danced until their legs gave out.
Sunset let out a exhausted sigh. "Whew! You sure know how to throw a party Pinkie," she spoke.
Pinkie just giggled. "Thanks!~" She glanced around and saw that everyone was sitting down looking as exhausted as Sunset was. "Come onnn! Surely we can still have some time for cake!" Her eyes sparkled at the thought of it. Yummm~ she thought, Caaake~
Sunset closed her drooling mouth and looked at her. "I think we've had enough partying for tonight... And cake."
She moved Sunset's hoof from under her chin. "Aww okay..." she motioned her hoof to the door. "Well, if was having you all! Time to go~" the door opened. "Byeee!~"
They guests chatted to each other rapidly as they walked their way out. Pinkie too, went out.
She felt a tug at her bouncy tail. "Where are you going?" she turned around and saw Sunset standing with a slightly puzzled look.
"Oh, I just wanted to step out to see stars." she looked up at the sky. "Hmm," she pondered. "That's funny. Since when are stars blue?"
"What do you mean aren't they-" a short gasp came out.
She blinked at her curiously. "What is it?" her eyes hovered over to the murmuring voices beside her. The party guests were still in her yard. They too, were had a shocked expression.
"This isn't right, Pinkie. Why hasn't it fall yet?"
"Ohhhh so that was what was wrong. I should've known! Hey sun!-" Sunset and Pinkie spoke the last sentence in unison.
"Why are you still up?!"
