Flame of the past: Natsu x Reader

Meaningless

You feel your cheeks getting red again. ''Could you stop doing that?'' You say demanding while you start walking into the room. ''Doing what?'' Natsu asks as he walks into the room too and closes the door behind him. ''...Messing with my head.'' You mutter. ''I'm sorry what?'' Natsu asks. ''I didn't hear you.'' ''...It's nothing, never mind.'' You say as you throw of your cape/coat/hood. "I'm going to take a shower. Don't peek or you'll regret it.'' Natsu chuckles. ''I wouldn't dare it.'' Natsu says before he drops himself onto the bed. 

A few minutes later you walk out of the bathroom wearing a simple white shirt and (f/c) pyjama pants. You see Natsu sleeping on the bed. Not under the covers. Still fully clothed. You giggle. "So lazy. Hey, Natsu...get up dude...you're taking over the whole bed.'' You shake his shoulders. He stays fast asleep. ''Well than, there is only one solution.'' You chuckle. You summon a whole bunch of spirit hands and carry Natsu off the bed. Then you drop him on the ground. He wakes up immediately. ''AU, (Y/n), what was that for?!'' He yells at you. You start laughing. ''You wouldn't move.'' You answer after a few seconds of laughter. He groans and gets up from the floor. ''You could have just shaken my shoulders.'' He mutters. ''I tried.'' You say as you start laughing at him because of the silly face he is pulling. ''What if I would drop YOU from the bed, would you still be laughing.'' Natsu smiles as he runs at you, swoops you of the ground and jumps on top of the bed. Holding you in the air next to it. You want to start floating but you can't focus, cause you can't stop laughing. You haven't had this much fun in a while. ''You wouldn't do that.'' You say as you smile at Natsu. He looks at you for a few seconds. He then puts you down on the bed, right next to him, while he is still holding you. ''You're right...I would never intentionally try to hurt you.'' You start blushing again as he looks deep into your eyes. His arm still wrapped around your waist. ''What's wrong? Why are you blushing?'' He looks away as a slight blush appears on his face as well. ''It's uhm..'' You start but you have no idea where you were going with that. Your throat feels dry. Your breath stocks as Natsu diverts his gaze to your eyes again. ''(y/n)...can I kiss you?'' Natsu asks. You feel your entire face getting a dark shade of red. You nod. You close your eyes and only a second later you feel Natsu's warm lips on yours. You kiss him intensely when suddenly you hear some one knock on your door which makes you jump away from him. ''I...I'll just...open...the...the door.'' You stutter as you feel your face getting redder and redder. You jump of the bed and walk towards the door.

'What am I doing. I am so stupid. I told myself not to fall for either of them. Ergh. Whatever it was just a meaningless kiss anyways.' You think as you walk towards the door. When you open it Happy flies inside with a plastic nag in his paws. ''I bought food like you told me Natsu. I hope you guys like fish.'' Happy flies towards Natsu and drops the bag with food in his hands. ''Is there only fish?'' You ask while you close the door. ''Aye, sir.'' Happy says as he lands on the bed. You sigh. ''Is it all raw?'' You ask. ''Aye,sir.'' Happy answers. You sigh again. ''Well, I guess it's time for some sushi.'' You take the bag from Natsu and start prepping a meal for the three of you. 

Minutes later you finished making the sushi and you, Natsu and Happy are happily nomming away on the food. ''This is really gooooood (y/n), how did you make all this with only rice and fishies?'' Happy asks while he is stuffing his face. ''My...mother...taught me how to cook when I was little.'' You answer while looking at the floor. Why does talking about your mother make you feel sad again. She died years ago. You shake your head and look up at Natsu and Happy. ''That's cool.'' Happy says. He might be a cat but he noticed your mood change just like Natsu. ''Are you alright (y/n)?'' Natsu asks. ''You seem a little down.'' ''I'm fine really. It's nothing.'' You shake your head again and smile at your two friends. 'It has been so long since you were together like this. Kind of a shame that gray isn't here. That would make everything like it used to be. But that would probably end in a big fight and the guild having to pay the owner of the inn for repairs.' You giggle. You're really looking forward to that. Natsu and Happy seem to be convinced that you cheered up and are stuffing their faces again. You look at your plate. To be honest, you aren't really hungry anymore. You stand up. ''He, guys, I'm gonna go for a walk alright?'' You grab your coat/cape/ hood from the bed and walk out the door. ''Are you sure you can be alone (y/n)? I can come with you if you want company.'' Natsu says while already standing up from the table. ''I'm fine Natsu. I'll see you later.'' You walk out the door and close it behind you.

You walk out the doors of the inn and breath in the fresh night air. It has been so long since you had control over your own body. This feels amazing. You start floating again, cause walking still doesn't really suit you, and start making your way towards a tiny park you saw on your way in. 

About ten minutes later you finally reach the park you saw. You got lost like two times on the way but you made it. You're quite proud of yourself. You sit down on a bench and look at a small pond in front of you. You start thinking about all the people you left behind at fairy tail. Cana, Mira and Elfman. But mostly about mystogan. Because you were both S-class you actually spend quite some time together. To the point that the two of you were practically like brother and sister and he told you every thing about himself. About how his real name isn't Mystogan. How he comes from another dimension named Edolas. How he left his entire life behind when he came to earth land. You haven't seen him for more than a year. And when you return he will probably be on a mission. You sure hope to see him soon. You get forcefully awakened from your thoughts when someone puts his or hands over your eyes from behind.
