"Bitch what are you smiling at?" V asked me as she came to a stop sign.

"Shut up Valentina." I said as she drove off.

"Mmhm. So which one you like most? Trey or Aug?"

I shook my head. "First of all, Trey is a friend and I don't even know August like that. "

"Trey is definitely not a friend."

She looked at me crazy. "He comes to your house everrrrryday! He either has flowers or something else in his hand. Y'all gotta be fuckin."

"Valentina! "

I squinted my eyes at her "I'm not gonna do that."

"You yourself even told me that he is a player."

"What's the difference when you spend all your time with him. You're bound to get attached anyway. Might as well throw some pussy.."

We pulled up to a party decorating place called Tim's.

"Why are we here?" I asked confused.

"Well, I have to get stuff for August's cousin."

"Oh." We both hopped out and went in.

"Valentina!" A lady in uniform said holding a clipboard as we walked up to V. I started walking around, admiring the store.

She smiled and hugged her "Zoria!"

"What's up with you today?"

"Girl nothing. It's been forever since I saw you love. I thought you quit or something."

"Girl no no no. I love this job."

"Really? Is Bob still here?"

"Girl yeah. He's the manager now."

"Foreal!"

"Yes honey. I like him better than John."

"John was an ass hole."

"That is true. But what brings you by here?"

"Well, August is having a party soon, him and Jamal. It's like a house warming party, in a couple days. He told me I could come by and get some stuff from here."

"What's his name?"

"Jamal Wilkins."

"Girl, he came by the other day and made a whole list of the things he wanted. I have the paper back in the office." She motioned for her to follow her. I put back whatever I was looking at and followed them. The girl went to the back and brought the paper.

"Damn, his picky ass." V said aloud.

We both giggled.

"Umm, do you need help or anything?" She asked me.

"Who her? Oh no no, she's with me Z. Her name is Melanie. Melanie meet Zoria. She was my coworker when I use to work here."

We both said our hi's.

"So where is the..." V started.

"I'll find everything, just come back later and pick it up."Zoria said grabbing the paper.

"Sure." They said their goodbyes and left.
