Belle's head is heavy as she lies on my lap, my fingers twirling her hair, its been two weeks, her and I, just spending time together. Me trying to mend the twisted hope that she always has but I never could concieve.
"I need to go to the mall. . . " She smirks, knowing I hate, and I mean hate going shopping.
"But. But Christmas was last week, it's going to be slammed," I whimper, she sits up looking me in the eyes, and cups my face.
"I'll give you a kiss. . . " She teases me gently with her lips and I frown, unsatisfied.
"You're a booty," I decide.
She grabs me and presses her lips to mine with intensity that makes my lips throb, and for some reason I don't mind going to the mall, or wherever, as long as she's with me.
I pull our foreheads together, earning a squeal from her as she runs to the bathroom and gets ready. Unlike her, I put on a Of Mice & Men T-shirt and ripped dark-red-jeans.
She comes out of the bathroom an hour later with a ripped black dress and her blue hair in a bun, her black gadges matching her eyeliner. I suck my lip ring in and she smiles. I gently pull my arms around her and kiss her forehead. I slip on my Doc Martens, and she puts some black pumps on.
"By time we leave its going to be lateeeee," I gripe, she grins and slaps me playfully. I grab my keys out of the bowl and we get into my Camaro- its all black with a red stripe slicing it down the middle- it's my kid, my baby, my girl.
"The seats are freezing!" She whines as she pulls her dress down. I blast the air and she stays silent the entire time. I decide to slow torture her, the way she is me, and play some rap music. Feel my wrath. I smile and chuckle before playing I Own Swag and she sits there like a rock as I dance to the music, I can tell from the corner of my eye that she's smiling. She loves when I dance.
I pull up to the door of Belk, and get out to open her door.
"What are you doing?" Her voice shakes, and for a second I don't understand.
"I thought I would pull the car up to the door since you're wearing a dress." She drops her smile, and her face drains of color.
"Last time you left me." Her eyes glisten with tears, and suddenly a feeling erupts in the pit of my stomach, the realization that I hurt her.
"Listen baby, I mean well, I won't leave I just don't want you to freeze." I grab her hand and lead her inside, she grabs me and hugs me. I'm a horrible person. . .
I pull the car into the closest parking space, and run, I mean run to the door so her mind doesn't run into other bad places. I reach the door quickly, and that earns me a smile from her.
"So what do you need from the mall?" I grab her hand and rub my thumb across it gently, sending butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
"I would like to get some more band tees, you've inspired me." She smiles, kissing me on the cheek.
We settle on going to Hot Topic the store is utterly crowded but by far my favorite, the only reason why I ever consider going to the mall. She grabs my hand and leads me to the shirts, I drop her hand and walk to the piercings and such, I'd like to get a eye-brow ring. She sees me eyeing the jewelry and walks over holding several shirts.
"What are you piercing next?" She questions, furrowing her brow.
"I would like to pierce my caterpillars," I respond, motioning to my eye-brows.
"Oh, okay."
"I'm going to go check-out." She adds and walks to the back of the line, I can't see her, God I hate the line.
"Can I help you?" I hear a women sound behind me, I turn around and there's Emma staring back at me.
"Oh. It's you," She begins to walk away, I grab her sleeve.
"I'm sorry Emma, but it's for the best." I plead.
Her boss eyes her, and she throws on a reluctant, plastic smile, " May I help you with anything today, miss?"
"I'd like to purchase a eye-brow ring." I counter, to her question.
"Hey bab-," Belle stops mid-sentence as she locks eyes with Emma.
"She's helping me get a eye-brow ring." I coo into her ear, she nods and her eyes turn into a gray color that makes me shiver.
"Here you go miss." I walk away giving the lady my ring, and get out of there faster then I knew I could.
"What was that Luna?!" Belle slaps my arm.
"I didn't know she worked there." I respond honestly.
"You dated for a month!"
"You're the only one for me, okay?" I take her head into my hand and gently kiss her forehead.
Her body, loosens up after being so tense you could throw a rock at her and it plummet to the moon.
We return home after eating dinner at the food-court. A silence filled with unspoken thoughts consumes the air around us.
"What if I were to move to New-York?"
