China X (Baby!) Reader

Your parents were really angry when you were born to find out you were a girl. They wanted a son, not a daughter. They left you in a dumpster and left.

You started getting hungry after a while in the dumpster. What happens when babies get hungry? They cry.

Yao was on his way home from a World Conference when he heard crying coming from a dumpster. He was confused, but he opened the dumpster. His brown eyes widened when he saw you in there.

"Huh? What is a baby doing in here?" Yao asked as he reached in and took you out. He held you and brushed some filth off you. Your (hair color) was filthy and matted. Your blue pajamas were covered in filth.

"Your clothes are blue, so you must be a boy." Yao said.

Yao took you home with him and decided to give you a bath. First, he fed you (Because he realized you were hungry). Then he got you ready for a bath. When he took your dirty clothes and diaper off, his face turned red and he face palmed.

"Correction. You're a girl." He muttered in embarrassment.

He bathed you and washed your hair. When he dried you and put new clothes on you, you were hungry again. Yao fed you again and sang Chinese lullabies to put you to sleep.

Yao sat in a chair holding a sleeping you. Part of him was thinking of dropping you off at an orphanage because having a daughter in China was considered an embarrassment.

"No," he said as he kissed your forehead. "I'm keeping you."

Then he remembered something.

"(Your name). That's what your name will be. (Your name)."
