Pianos Fix Broken Hearts, Sweetie

You were in your room crying. Today at school, you found out that your boyfriend had been going out with your best friend, (Best friend's name), for a few months. You punched him in the face (Didn't get in any trouble) and came home in tears.

There was a knock on your door.

"(Your name)?" Your father's voice called through the door. "Are you okay?"

"I-I'm f-fine." You lied.

There was a long silence, then your father came in and sat next to you on your bed. He hugged you tightly as you told him the whole story.

"Come with me, (Your name). I know how to fix this." He said. You sniffled and got up from your bed.

He walked you down the hall to the room where his piano was. He opened the big doors and sat you down on the piano stool. He sat down next to you.

"H-how's this gonna help?" You asked with a sniffle.

Your dad handed you a tissue and didn't say anything. He dug through a box of piano music before picking a sheet and putting it on the music stand thing. He adjusted his glasses and did a few notes on the keys. Then he started playing a song you slowly recognized as Someone Like You (Adele).

Once he finished that song, he started to play Hush, My Little Baby, a song he used to play to you when you were a baby.

When your dad was playing another song, you started falling asleep. He quickly stopped the song and got up to move the couch close to the piano. He had you lie down on it so you wouldn't fall of the piano bench and break your head.

Once you were on the couch, the sound of your dad's piano rocked you to sleep.

Your dad noticed you fell asleep, but he finished the song for you. Once he finished, he got up from his piano and gently picked you up. He carried you back to your room to put you to bed. He put you in bed and brushed some (Hair color) hair away from your face.

"Pianos fix broken hearts, sweetie." He whispered before kissing your forehead and leaving your room.
