"Vati (Daddy)?"

Ludwig looked up from working and saw his two year old daughter, Adele, standing in the doorway.

"Vhat is it?" He asked.

"Vill jou play vith me?" She asked, her bright eyes sparkling.

"Uhh..."

Ludwig don't know what to do. He didn't have a problem playing with her when she was a baby, but now he was a little nervous about playing with her since she was still tiny. He thought she would make up her own friends to play with, but she didn't.

"I'm busy, sweetie," he said. "Vhy don't jou go ask Uncle Gilbert?"

"He out." Adele answered.

Ludwig sighed. Gilbert really needed to spend less time screwing around with the Bad Touch Trio and more time with his niece. "I guess I can take a break..." He said as he stood up.

Adele started giglgling.

Ludwig started thinking of something he could try doing with a toddler. "How ubout a tea...uhh...party?" He asked.

"Yay!" Adele said as she grabbed her father's hand and walked him to her room. Ludwig muttered a few things in German, praying he wouldn't screw up.

Well, the tea party was a disaster. Ludwig ended up getting frustrated with Adele and she started crying and wouldn't stop.

"I-I'm sorry, prinzessin (Princess)," Ludwig stammered as he picked up Adele and held her close. "I-I d-didn't mean to make jou sad."

Adele didn't say anything. She kept crying into her father's chest.

Ludwig relaxed a little as he held his daughter. He kissed her head and stood there not saying a word.

"Vant to go training vith me?" He asked.

"Training?" Adele asked as she stopped crying and looked up.

Ludwig smiled. "Ja. Do jou vant to?"

Adele started saying yes and scrambled out of her father's arms to get dressed. Ludwig left the room and smiled.

"Look, vati!" Adele called.

Ludwig looked up and saw her sitting on the nozzle part of the tank.

"How did jou get up zhere?" He asked with a gasp.

"I climb!" she said proudly.

"Get down from zhere," Ludwig said as he started climbing up the tank. "I don't vant jou to fall und get hurt."

"Okay, Vati."
