"Mom, I can't do this. He goes here!" I turn to look at my mother. She smiles and says, "Well, you'll have to confront him eventually. Might as well be now." I put on a sad smile. "Yea, I guess. I've missed him quite a bit." "Alright now. Don't want to miss homeroom do you? Now go!" With that, my mom drove off. I sighed and walked into the building. I took out her schedule and started off towards my homeroom. Just as I was about to walk into the classroom, I bumped into a tall figure. "Oh! I'm so very sor-" I realized that I had bumped right into Isaiah. "Mia. You did not tell me that you'd be here." Isaiah said, his brown eyes showing no emotion. "I-Isaiah! Oh I was going to, but I wanted to keep it a surprise." I looked Isaiah up and down. He had gotten much taller and stood about 5 inches taller than me. His dark hair was brushed back, showing off his handsome face. "Yea. Some surprise." Isaiah turned around and went into the classroom. I stare after him sadly, and I feel my heart wretch. I thought Isaiah would have at least missed me a little bit! I thought miserably. "Are you okay?" A tall boy, and inch smaller than Isaiah asks me. He is a blond, with bright blue eyes filled with concern as he looks at me. I wipe the few tears from my eyes, then I straighten up. "Y-yes, sorry. I'm Mia Davis, by the way. I just moved back here." The boy chuckles and I groan. Way to go Mia! Why not give him a short bio too! I curse under my breath, and the boy says, "Ah, your the Mia. The one who broke Isaiah Joe's heart. Well I am Harry. See you around 'Davis." Harry walks into the classroom. I follow him, but I stop short when he sits beside Isaiah. My heart feels ready to burst in misery and my eyes fill when Isaiah does not even acknowledge me. I quickly walk to the back, avoiding everyone's gaze. The teacher, Ms. Lowaski, a young, fairly pretty teacher, with glossy, straight brown hair and pretty green eyes. She is wearing light pink washed jeans with a shirt that says 'We are the People' which is way too big for her. She has her hair in a ponytail. "Okay class. Today we have a new student. Her name is Mia Davis!" About twenty-six pairs of eyes turn to look at me, and to my disappointment, Isaiah is rigid, staring straight ahead. Harry, on the other hand, is smiling brightly at me, and gives a small wave. I can't help but smile at his bright mood. "Alright class, find your science textbooks, and turn to page 143." As I open my new shiny textbook, my thoughts of Isaiah are pushed to the back as the image of Harry crowds my brain.

"Davis!" I close my locker and shake my head, smiling. It had been three days since the first day, and since then, Harry would always hang out with me. We had become really close, and spent after-school in the art club together. "Hey Har. Come on, we are late!" I grabbed his hand, and dragged him toward the art room.
