"Um, put the yellow flowers on the far table to the left." I told my assistant, Kira. She hurried up and scurried, to the table on the far side of the room, to put the bouquet of sunflowers on the middle of the white table.

But it just wouldn't go.

"Uh, never mind, switch the yellow flowers with the purple ones." She then goes to the table with the different varieties of flowers on them and I watch as her eyes scan the table.

"Hurry up. We don't have all day, Kira." I said getting impatient. She hurried up and picked up a bouquet of lilacs, replacing the sunflowers.

I looked over the whole room and it looked completed, the purple hint of flowers tied everything together with the off white base of the room. It looked like the wedding, you would've dreamed of when you were a kid, magical and beautiful. I never thought anything could've ever look so good.

I smile at the work I've done, then I check my watch.

"Shit" I say under my breath. We're off track, the guest should be ariving at the church soon.

I went into the hallway, which was busy with working people running around, completing the orders I told them to follow.

"Everyone, we have thirty minutes until the bride walks down the aisle," I shouted,"Hurry it up!"

"Kira!" I yelled.

"Yes, Miss Evans?" she asked, right by my side keeping up with my long strides.

"Is there a car waiting outside to take me to the church?" I asked.

"Yes. Mr Bradley is waiting to for you, outside."

"Okay, you stay here and make sure everything is all set." Kira nodded and turned on her heel. I walked to the entrance door and hurried to the car. Jim opened the backseat of the car door for me, I shuffle in.

Bradley takes no time to drive off as I reach into my clutch for my cellphone.

My second assistant picks up on the second ring.

"Hell-" she says.

"Maddie is everything running smoothly at the church."

"Not exactly-"

"Not exactly!" I seethed.

"The groom is having second thoughts, about marrying the bride." she says.

I rolled my eyes, this is not the first time I've had to deal with a situation like this. If you're having second choices then why did you even propose. Marriage is not anything to just throw in the air.

"I'm on my way."

We arrive at the church, and Jim opens up my door. I straighten out my black pencil skirt, and make my way into the building.

I'm greeted by Maddie.

"Where is he?" I ask.

"He's upstarirs in the second door on the right." she says as she points at the stairs.

I walk up the steps, and to the door Maddie pointed me to. I knock on it two times before opening it.

There he sat on the bed with a framed picture in his hand. I went over to look at the picture.

It was of him and the bride, them making goofy faces. The both of them look truly happy in the photo , I smiled. True love.

"This is a picture her mom took of us when we were in high school." He said, "When I actually thought we were going to be together forever."

"Well look at y'all now. It's your wedding day, and you're getting married to her." I said, "you guys are tying the knot, you guys will be together forever." I add.

"That's how I use to feel, now I-I just realized today, that I'm not ready to commit." his voice cracked.

Y'all have been together since high school. I want to shout in his face. But instead, I go the soft route.

"You guys have been together for nine years, correct?" I ask, he nods.

"Well, if you've been with her that long don't you think it's time to tie the knot?" I ask.

He stayed quiet so I took that as a que to keep going.

"You could've left anytime in those nine years but, you chose to stay. At anytime you could've left. Nobody was forcing you to stay. So why try to leave now?" I asked.

He raises his head and his eyes finally meet mine, I smile at him.

"I just think your being paranoid, you still love her." I say. His facial expression softens which shows that he is considering my words.

I got to him.

"So stand up," I say and he does, " the wedding starts in ten minutes, you gotta get down there." I straighten out his black tie and smooth the little creases that are in his jacket of his tuxedo.

"I'll meet you down there, and I better see you." My voice turning back into its stern self, I point my pointer finger at him. I turn and walk to the door but I'm stopped by his voice.

"Hey, Valeria?" The groom asks, I never remember their names.

I turn to him, "Yes?"

"Thank you, you are right I do love Sabrina." he says. Ah, that's her name.

I give him a smile and a nod, before walking out the door.

"Six minutes!" I shouted after I've shut the door. I walked down stairs to the ceremony, to check up on things.

All the guest have arrived and everybody is seated, everything looks amazing and set.

I pressed the button on the wire of my wakie talkie, that was connected to my ear. I talked in the microphone, "Maddie what are the updates on the bride?"

"She is all set and ready to walk out in two." she responds.

I walk up on the balcony that watches over the ceremony, where I can see everything. The groom has arrived, and acting like the talk we had never happened. Good.

I pick up the little microphone and press the botton.

"Que the music and the couples." I say, and automatically the bridal chorus starts to play.

After all the couple's went down the aisle I waited a few minutes.

"Bring out the flower girl and Sabrina." Just as the bride walks out, everybody looks at her but my eyes are on the groom.

My favorite part of a wedding is looking at the groom when the bride comes out, how his face lights up, and his eyes twinkle. Also in that moment I can tell if their marriage is going to be forever, or if it's not meant to be.

And in his eyes, I can tell it's going to last.
