Chapter 7

Ginas

"Mum, we're here!" Luke shouted.

"Oh hey!" Gina shouted back. Luke and Georgia walked into the kitchen and chatted. Luke set the table.

"Is Beau and Jai coming?" Luke asked.

"Yeah, Jai said he was bringing Liv." Gina said.

"Haven't spoken to her in a while." Georgia commented quietly.

"Oh, were you guys in a fight or something?" Gina asked.

"No, guess we kinda lost touch, maybe we've just been busy or something. I dunno." Georgia said.

"Well, they should be here soon, mind helping me?" Gina asked.

"Yeah, no problem, what do you need help with?" Georgia asked.

"Go out and check the chicken on the grill?" Gina asked. Georgia nodded and left.

"So, Luke, how's it going with you two?" She asked.

"It's been good, I really love her. It has been about two years. Man, she still makes me smile like the beginning." Luke said smiling at the thought.

"Thinking about possibly marrying her one day?" She asked.

"Well yeah, but not yet, I'm not ready and I don't think she is either. I mean shes still in University so I reckon she'll want to finish that and stuff before we take the next step in our relationship." Luke said. "Plus her job on top of it all..."

"Have you found a job yet?" Gina asked.

"No I'm still looking. No ones hiring." Luke groaned.

A knock came from the door and Jai and Liv walk in. "Hey Mum were here!"

"Now we're just waiting for Beau." Gina said.

"Usually he's first to these Sunday dinners." Jai said.

"He probably got caught in traffic." Luke said.

"How could he get stuck in traffic? He lives like less than ten minutes away and it's Sunday!" Jai commented back.

"Just shut up! It was a possibility until you had to butt in!" Luke said back getting annoyed.

"Is Georgia here?" Liv asked.

"Yeah, she's right out side checking on the chicken." Luke said. Liv nodded and set her handbag down and went outside to where Georgia was.

James and Victorias apartment

"What do you want for dinner?" Victoria shouted to James from the kitchen.

"I don't know what is there?" He said back.

Victoria looked through the cupboards. "Pasta, bread, 2-minute noodles, soup, not much really 'cause we need to go shopping."

"I'll have some 2-minute noodles, please." James said.

"Flavour?" She asked.

"There's only one James, chicken?"

"Alright."

Finally, Beau showed up. They all sat at the table eating and talking.

"So Beau have you found anyone?" Gina asked. Beau looked down and smiled.

"Not sure, I met a girl a few days ago but I'm not sure." Beau said. Luke and Jai couldn't help but give him crap for not finding someone yet. Georgia and Liv trying not to laugh, and Gina trying to get the twins to stop.

"What about you girls, how's work?" Gina asked them. They both tried to talk at the same time.

"You can go first, Liv." Georgia smiled.

"It's great, but so exhausting! There's a lot of weirdos that come through the store." She said.

"Oh my god, yes! Just the other day there was this, he must've been at least sixty, he was like trying to hit on me and get my number. It was quite amusing actually." Georgia said. Luke was shocked because he was just now hearing this story.

"Don't worry babe, you're my forever." Georgia smiled at Luke.

Everyone laughed and continued to eat.
