Victoria
Sitting on this really uncomfortable chair getting checked to see if I was pregnant was really nerve racking. I just want to go to a roof top right now and scream.
"Alright, I will be right back in about five minutes with the test results." The doctor said. She nodded and sat up in the weird doctors chair thing. Minutes past and she was getting nervous. Did the longer they take mean they found something? "God please don't let me be pregnant." She whispered and put her head in her hands. The door opened and the doctor walked in looking all professional like with his back straight and then there's her, looking like a mess worried out of her skin.
"We have good news and bad news."
The doctor said.
"Start with the bad news, then go to the good news to lighten me up?" She said.
"Good news," The doctor said.
"Woah woah woah - I said bad then good." She said.
"I guess they're both bad." The doctor said.
"Okay, you aren't pregnant." The doctor said and Victoria could basically cry tears of joy but she had to keep it all together. She nodded and wanted the other news.
"Our tests have shown that you don't ovulate as often as a normal as a normal woman should. That means you don't produce enough eggs to even get pregnant. Did you know about that?" The doctor said. Her heart dropped. Eventually one day she wanted to have kids of her own with James, but could this change it all?
"No." She said in almost a whisper as her breath caught in her throat.
"There is a 13% chance of you getting pregnant, but that's about equal to one in a million." The doctor said. She nodded still staring helplessly at the ground.
"How do you explain my missed period? Me throwing up, sore breasts, and heartburn?" She said.
"I don't have a scientific reasoning for the sore breasts and heartburn but a missed period is very normal." The doctor said.
"Thank you. I have to go now, thank you again." She said and got off the big lay down chair.
"I want to recommend this for your heart burn." The doctor scribbled something on a piece of paper and gave it to her. She nodded and hurried out of the room.
The appointment took a bit longer than an hour so it was about four. The coffee with Liv wasn't until around five.
She got back to her car and screamed of joy. She was so happy to not be pregnant. Then she remembered, there's a high chance that she's not ever going to be able to get pregnant. That puts all her future plans on hold. How was she supposed to tell James this?

"I am having coffee with Victoria at five." Liv said.
"What no! You just got back! Now you're leaving again?" He pouted.
"Jai, I won't be gone very long!" She laughed.
"I'll be missing you every moment." He said grabbing her arm and pulling her down to sit on his lap.
"Nice cheesy moment." She said. "But I can't lie I quite loved it."
