James and Victoria

They got to the restaurant and Victoria could not get her mind off of the tests. What did they mean? She would have to go to the doctors to get the real answer.

The waitress led them to their table and gave them their menu.

"What would you like to drink?" She asked getting her notebook ready.

"We'll take some red wine." James said.

"No, all I want is some water please." Victoria said just to be safe. The waitress smiled and walked away.

"I thought it was a tradition to always get red wine when we came here?" James asked. "Is something wrong?"

"No James, I'm just feeling a bit sick. I just don't really feel like it right now." She lied to him. Her stomach turned at the thought again. How would she tell James that she possibly could be pregnant? Ruin every plan he had for the future by bringing a child in? Chancing ruining their relationship completely? They were not even planning on getting at the most engaged until a couple years; after they've finished university and had a steady job to support their oncoming family.

"Alright." He sighed. They talked about work and stuff that has been going on, like they did everyday anyway, so their wasn't much to know. They joked around until their food got here.

They began eating and talking about the boys stuff and future plans. They ate in silence for a bit.

"What were you doing in the bathroom earlier? You were in there for quite a while!" James said. Her stomach got that bottomless pit nervous feeling.

"James! We're eating!" She tried to cover up the question.

"Just tell me whats going on! You've been acting weird the whole day!" He noted.

"I was just cleaning James. Okay? I was just cleaning. Can we stop talking about that now?" She said. All she wanted to do was cry. She had to hold back the tears. She tried to make the stinging feeling in her nose go away. She felt more than just the stinging feeling. Like that horrible vomit feeling.

"Excuse me, I need to use the girls room." She got up and tried to walk as normal as she could but ended up half running to the washroom. She hurried into a stall and knelt over and threw up everything she had just eaten. She sat on the ground, not caring how dirty it might've been. She couldn't help but cry. She wasn't ready for this. She wasn't ready to tell James. She remembered James was waiting for her back at the table. She got up in a hurry and dusted herself off. She leaned over to flush the toilet and her phone fell out of her top and fell into the toilet.

"Fuck!" She yelled. "Why me?" She reached into the toilet hesitantly and grabbed her phone. She grabbed it with only two fingers while making little 'Ew' sounds. She hurried out of the stall and flushed the toilet with her foot. She tried her best to shake all the water out of her phone and dry it off. She washed her hands in burning hot water to kill all the germs off her hand, even though it hurt, she really didn't want to get sick. She powdered her face to get rid of the redness that she had from crying. She grabbed her phone from the counter and put it in her small handbag she brought with her.

"If I just would've but it in there it would've never fallen out!" She mumbled to herself angrily as she walked back to the table. He lightly smiled to James as she sat back down. He was almost finished with his food, and she barely made an indent on hers.

"Was that you who screamed?" James asked.

"Yeah, I um dropped my phone in the toilet." She said.

"The whole restaurant heard you, you know." He laughed. "It'll be fine, we'll just buy you a new one." Victoria took a few more bites of her food and finished when James did.

"Are you going to eat more?" He asked.

"No, I'm pretty full. Not feeling very good thats all." She said. In reality, she just didn't have an appetite today. They paid for their meal and left.

Daniels house

"Hey Bry, I was wondering if you'd like to go out or something?" Daniel said for like thz millionth time in the mirror practicing how he'd say it to her.

"Idiot! Just call her!" He mumbled. He dialled her number and put the phone to his ear. No answer. He decided to leave a voice message.

"Hey Bry, it's Daniel from the skate park and erm I was wondering if you'd like to like go see a movie sometime? Well just call me back when you get this. Bye." He hung up and smiled that he finally asked her.
