A Twist In My Story.

Chapter 1. Goodbye.

"Kath! Kath! Kath! Kath! You sleepyhead wake up!"

A loud scream and the shaking on my bed  woke me up. The bright West Virginia sun shined behind my curtains. I knew who it was in an instant, he's been doing it since the day we were born. "Shut your yap Matt! Im already up." I shouted giving him a slight smack in the head, which he dodged. "Ha! You missed." He sang. I rolled my eyes at him and finally getting off the bed as I push him out of my room.  Matt turned around,"Oh and your mom is making pancakes." he winked and trotted off to the kitchen.

Let's say Matt is that typical highschool guy. Quarterback at the football team, popular..etc. I, on the other hand was just that goody-two-shoes girl. Quite the good student and quiet girl. Complete opposite of him. But in the end, we were best friends since childhood.

I cursed in a low voice then went to the bathroom for a quick shower. When I finished, I headed to my closet, which wasn't that much big. I took the dress on one of the hangers and wore. The flat shoes were under my bed so I had to duck down and reach it. I went back to the bathroom to put on some make up. As to my messy hair, I tied it to a bun. After all that mambo jambo of things, I walked out of the room grabbing my bagpack and locking my door. "Matt! You better not ate all those pancakes, or ill beat the crap out of you." I yelled out chuckling. As I reached the kitchen, mom was just putting all the food on plates and serving it on the table. "Morning Mom. Dad headed off to work already?" She smiled and greated me the same.

"Morning to you too sweetheart. And yes, he said something about a deal with some sponsors." 

"Oh." 

I sat down on the chair beside Matt, who already stuffed pacakes in his mouth."Morning to you too Sir yells a lot." I chuckled as I took my plate placing butter and mapple sauce. 

A while later the school bus honked outside my house and we ran outside waving goodbye to my mother. Matt and I sat beside Cass, another one of my best friends. "Hey Cass." I hugged her tigh.

"Hey Kath.." She trailed off after seeing Matt. She's always had a crush on him. I could see her blush in different shades of red. I stiffled a laugh as Matt sat beside me."Hey Matt." She finally managed to spat out.  "Yow Cassidy!" was all that Matt said.

 We spent the time talking about random things and we planned to go out after school. The school bus arrived on time for the bell to ring, I sighed and mumbled "here goes another day." in a low tone almost uninteligable for my friends to understand. The day started out really well, that was ment to be sarcastic. I really hated tuesdays since my first class was gym. I still have my breakfast in my stomach for god's sake! and I was about to barf them up already. I walked inside dragging my feet on the ground, I had begged Matt and Cassidy to take me with them, but as asuall, they just leave me there. The two had Science class. Coach August blared his whistle when everyone had changed to their gym suits, sweatpants and sleeveless. However the more 'slutty' ones wore short shorts.  Everyone walked and stood infront of the coach as he annouced that we were doing Basketball. Oh god...

As a matter of fact, I am not one of those clumsy or girly girls. I enjoyed doing sports and all, but what I hated was the early morning excercises. The time passed like years as each second ticked. I constantly checked the clock on the high wall, although that seems to slow it even more. 

Finally the bell rang and I was glad class finally ended. I ran to the girl's changing room and dressed up as fast as I can and hurried out to my locker. I opened it and dumped all my things taking the ones I only needed to this day. 

History. Now that was better than gym class, not just because I like it, but because finally Matt and Cass joined me there with me. I was wrong to even think that it would get alot better. Class seemed to pass really slow. I stared at the clock every now and then as I tapped my pen on the table.
