Chapter 37 Connor is back

Adam took me to the front door as i had my stuff with me.  We were waiting for Connor.

"He's here " he said as he heard a car pull up. 

I wasn't happy with Adam. And i wasn't happy on going back with Connor. We heard a knock on the door and Adam opened it. 

"Hey Adam" i heard Connor's voice say. 

"Hey"

Connor walked in and saw me.  He instantly smiled and gave me a huge hug.  I didn't hug back at all.  He gave me a kiss on my cheek.

"How you been bae?? " he asked. 
"Why did you leave me here?" i asked seriously.

"I'll explain later" he said as he held my hand. 

"Well thanks a lot for taking care of Zoey" Connor told Adam as he handed him a stack of money. 

"No problem Connor"

I looked at Adam sadly as I'm going to miss him.  He looked at me and i could tell he felt bad as he saw my expression. Connor pulled me towards his direction as we exit the house.  I felt someone grab my other hand to see Adam.  Connor stopped as he looked at us. 

"Let go Adam, What's wrong???" Connor questioned. 

"You let go" Adam told him.

"For what she's coming with me now"

Adam pulled me violently back inside making me fall to the ground and also making my arm hurt badly.  He quickly shut the door closed and locked it.  He picked me up as i heard Connor kicking the door and yelling to open the door. Adam had thru me on his shoulder as he ran around the house.

"Adam what's had gotten into you???" i asked horrified as to thinking on what Connor might do to him for doing this. 

"You wanted to escape right??  Well I'm helping you now" he told me as we made our way to the Garage. He got me in his car as he buckled me up.  He got in the other side and drove through the garage door making it fly off.  Connor had kicked the door open but he was inside looking for us already.  Which made us have a head start to run away from them.  Adam was driving super fast i was kinda afraid.

"Listen here" he told me.

"If you want me to help you escape you will have to tell me one thing" he added. 

"What? "

"Where's Lilian"

Fuck if he only knew she was dead.  Wtf do i do now???
