Chapter 49 After

I was in the hospital's waiting room waiting for any news. They had said that they could probably bring her back to life as they say that when we came she wasn't hanging there for to long. So i still have hope. Just going into deep thought i just remember when Connor had first wanted me to watch Zoey. She was beautiful alright but her attitude when i first met her was unexpected. I still liked her no matter what.

"Adam?? " i heard the nurse calling me.

I quickly stood up and went to her.

"Yes?? "

"Zoey is alright, she is sowly recovering" she told me.

"Oh my god thank you so much. " i said in relief.

"She will have to stay in the hospital for a few weeks she has serious injuries we have to take care of" she added.

"That's good, just anything that could make her better" i added.

"Can i go visit her?? " i asked.

"Not right now there's a detective asking her questions about her experience being kidnapped " she answered.

"Oh okay I'll wait"

ZOEY'S POV:
"So Zoey why did you commit suicide?" the man asked me.

"Because........ That was my only way out to escape.......... As many times as i tried to escape him it was impossible" i added as i stared at my fingers.

"How did you feel when you were with him?? "

"Like if i was living a nightmare. He will rape me and abuse me so many times, that when he did that he called himself someone else "

"Someone else? Can you please explain what you mean by that? "
"He will call himself Charles when he was actually still Connor"

"Did he call himself Charles only when he was being abusive towards you?? "

"Yes"

"Okay he might have a psycho problem "

"Has he gotten caught??" i asked.

"he has actually but were going to take care of him to make sure he doesn't escape or try to hurt you anymore " he told me as he took his glasses off.

"Thank you so much"

"Your welcome i hope you get better soon " he told me as he stood up.

"Thanks "

He had left and in came Adam. He ran to me and gave me a hug. I hugged back and just started to cry on his shoulder. He slowly moved apart from me.

"Adam you came" i said.

"Yes i changed my mind but is all my fault that you had to commit suicide"

"Well i thought you were serious when you didn't want to help me."

"No Zoey you made me change my mind. Because i was feeling something towards you. I love you Zoey and i did a huge mistake leaving you with Connor" he said as he touched my cheek gently as he wiped my tears away with his thumb.

He gave me a massive kiss on my lips as i still had tears running down my cheeks. I can't wait to start my life back to normal.
