Chapter 39 running away

I Woke up terrified as i quickly sat up. I saw that i was on a hotel room. I heard someone on the bathroom. The bathrooms door open to see Adam. Was what just happened all a dream.

"Are you okay?? You look terrified?" he questioned.

"What happened?" i asked.

"Well Connor found us and well he keep bumping into us to make us stop. You weren't wearing your seat belt and you hit the window making it crack as you were bleeding from your forehead." he said.

I touched my forehead to feel that i had a bandage.

"What happened after that?"

"We got away and lost him, and i took us to a hotel cause i think is the safest we could get"

"We gotta go I don't-" i couldn't help but to cry.

"Why you crying??" he asked.

"Cause i don't wanna be running away from Connor when i know he is going to get us. Might as well just end my life. "

"No don't say that" he told me.

"Adam i have to say that i had caught feelings for you that i'm just afraid on what Connor might do to you. He could hurt you or maybe even kill you." i said as tears ran down my cheeks.

He came to me and hugged me as i felt a kiss on my cheek.

"Will be okay i promise" he told me.

"Adam i could take you to Lilian" i lied to him. I Just want to get as far away from Connor i don't want Adam to get hurt.

"You can?" he questioned.

"Yes i remember now "

"But you said you didn't know cau-"

"Just listen to me. I know " i told him.

"Okay take me to her" he said.
