Hi, I'm Kaitlyn and BLA, BLA, BLA! This is not your normal story. I'm not going to go all hi I'm BLA BLA and BLA BLA and BLA BLA BLA. Nope not at all, but my name is Kaitlyn.
And I hope you like this story about my life.It all started when I was living in an open field and watching the sun set when mom called.
"GET INSIDE!" She Yelled nicely . So I walked back inside and sat next to dad on the couch. "What mom," I said calmly,
"We need to talk," She whispered,"It's important. Go to your room I will be right up"
So I ran up the steps trying to beat Lucy, my little, black, Toy Poodle. I walked to my room and sat on my bed. Half scared she was going to tell me someone died and half excited that we were going to get a new dog or something. I waited about 7 minutes anxiously. Finally mom came up to my bed and sat beside me with a frown on her face.
"It breaks my heart to tell you this but," she stopped for a second
"We're moving," she jumped backwards quickly as if I was about to punch her but, even though I wanted to, I didn't.
"WHAT!!!!!" I screamed, "WE CAN'T MOVE, WE LIVE HERE!!!!!" I ran downstairs and out the back door before mom could reply.
I was so ticked, how could she! How could DAD! I had friends here! I had family here! After I cooled down and came back inside, mom had told me to go pack.
"What! Why! When are we leaving!" I screamed.
"Well, were leaving tomorrow morning,"she said cautiously.
"What about my friends! When will I tell them goodbye!" I screamed even more mad.
"Well, you won't get to sweetie," dad said trying to stay calm.
I ran upstairs to pack. How could they?! Oh hey honey, were moving and you can't tell your friends goodbye cause we're leaving tomorrow. Those jerks. I grabbed my pillow and screamed into it until I lost my breath.
"Well, i've got to pack I guess," I said to myself angerly. The next morning I got woke up by a moving truck honking outside.
This is it, the last time I will see my house, the last time I will see this town, the last time I will see this state actually. I grabbed my bags and put them in the car. Then I put the stuff I didn't need right away, into the moving truck. It was so sad, having to leave my house, my town, my friends. Having to leave everything behind.
Mom called out from downstairs as I was saying goodbye to my room "Kaitlyn, it's time to go," there wasn't any, any emotion in her voice. None at all.
The moving truck backed out of the driveway to head to Minnesota. It was kind of a long drive from Texas to Minnesota, but it would all be worth it when we get to ShadowRidge.
