It's there something you want to tell me Aria?

Fuck he's onto me. - Uncle Luke i...

When were you planning to tell me? - He interrupted me, before i could say another word. - You have a mental connection with your psychotic brother, and you hide it from my all this time?

I'm sorry - i said - i was afraid, i thought i could handle it. are you mad?

Mad?- he said - i'm your master Aria, i'm supposed to take care of you. but i can't do my work if you hide thinks like this from me. - he was clearly worried about me.

I thought i could use it to win. - i finally said.

This kind of connection it's very rare.- he said. happens only when force users share a family bond. Your mother and i used to sense when the other was in trouble, we could feel things. But getting into your head, it's something way more dangerous. we don't know the reach of his power, he could hurt you.

If what you said it's true, we should go, the falcon is by the coast. - Rey said, interrupting our conversation.

Rey is right - he said - we'll continue this conversation later.

I picked up the bags. there were mostly training stuff. cuz i didn't have any belongings. Except for a handcrafted rebel insignia that i did many years ago. I used to imagine that one day i'll join the resistance, and help them defeat the first order. Guess that day is today. I hope i'm ready for the job.

We started descending when i saw it, i was amazed. i've never seen one in my entire life. it was a lightsaber. a real one, hanging from my uncle's coat. he promise i'll have one, when my training was completed of course. after some awkward silence walking, we arrive the coast, the millennium falcon was there, it was amazing, it looked exactly how Luke described to me in his stories. We were about to enter when i heard a familiar noise. A noise i haven't heard in years. but one that brought me so much joy.

Chewie - i screamed of exciting.

He was standing by the door, he looked at me, like i was that little baby he used to play with many years ago. i ran into he's arms. he said something to me, i didn't understand, after all i never learned to speak wookie. He spoke again, even if i didn't understand wookie i could tell he was sad, like he was saying " i'm sorry, i should've save him, i'm sorry" maybe deep down, i could understand, or somehow i could feel his words through the force.

It's okay Chewie. - I said - i'm sure you did everything you could. - he half smiled at me, he was too ashamed to look at me. so i gave him some space, we all deal with pain in our own ways.

Buckle up - Rey said, as she sat on the pilot seat. Chewie took the co-pilot seat as usual. Luke and i went to the back of the ship. he sat in front of some round table that looked like a chess board. he looked at me and said. - time to talk - but he didn't actually spoke, his lips were closed, but i could perfectly heard what he just said. i freaked out, he noticed it, so he gave me a big smile. i sat next to him expecting not to get lectured.

I Can see him master. - i said, he didn't expect me to speak first. - I've seen terrible things, - i continued - he has inflicted so much pain. he must be stopped. - he remained in silence until...

This feeling you're having, these visions, indeed can help us to understand the enemy. but as much as you see, he can see you. that's a disadvantage, since surprise is our best defense. i need you to trust that everything i do is for your own good, and for the sake of the galaxy.

Can i trust you'll do the right thing? - he finally said.

I won't hide you anything from now on, i promise. - i responded

We spend the rest of the journey listening to Rey talking about her life before all this, she was a scavenger in a planet named Jakku. She talked about the resistance army, and the destruction of the Republic, thousands of lives lost in a minute. I couldn't help but feel sadness and hate towards the responsables. Fortunately the mission my father lead, ended up destroying the Starkiller base, and the entire First Order army, it also cost his own life. Of course my brother didn't die that day. But Rey said he was really hurt, apparently she battle him, and won. so if she can defeat him, he won't stand a chance against me.

What worries me the most, is that without the republic, without no one to guide us, we could witness the resurgence of the empire. we can't allow that. - Uncle luke said just before we reached our destiny.

We're here, come down there's a lot of people eager to know you. Rey Said with a big smile as she descended the ramp.

This is it - i thought - this is the moment, Uncle Luke will present me to the resistance as the solution for this problem, the chosen one, the savior.

I'm not ready - i said out loud, fortunately Chewie and Rey we're already gone.

Don't be afraid, you're ready, you're strong, and you're not alone. always remember that. - Luke said as he left the ship.

I panicked, i wasn't ready, and i knew it, i had this fake confidence all this years, but i knew then, i wasn't ready. i will be a disappointing, as my grandfather was. a failure.

Are you coming? - He said from out side the ship.

I'm coming - i screamed as i planed a escape plan. i rather escape, that fail big time. Then i felt a headache again. it wasn't me, this weren't my thoughts, it was Ben, he wanted me to fail. I decided to let go all those feelings and trust in my instincts. i came down the falcon, and there were people everywhere, they all seemed excited, after all they were in presence of the last Jedi in the galaxy. i tried to find Rey or Luke, but with all this crowd it was impossible to find them. I finally set eyes on them, when suddenly the crowd opened letting a wide hallway between me and them.

I could see uncle Luke in the distance, he was hugging  someone. i couldn't see who. he moved again from the hug, and he pointed at my with his entire arm. suddenly everyone was looking at me. i looked them back, they were all waiting.

Then i saw her, she was more beautiful than i remembered. she smiled at me and  opened both arms on my direction expecting me to run into her. but i didn't, i just stand there unable to move.

go ahead, she doesn't bite. - a man said to me, he was dark haired, brawny and he had a big smile.

He was a complete stranger, yet he was talking to me, i looked at him perplex, he winked at me, i couldn't help but smile, i slowly calm down. and one step after the other i made it to the door of an old building. i had my head down, i was terrified but i felt a warm hand on my cheek.

My baby girl.- my mother said as she wrapped my in the most comfortable hug i ever had. i tried to speak, but not a single sound came out of my mouth.

Come, we have a lot to discuss. - she said while leading me into the building.

I guess it was better that i imagined. but that was the easy part.
