Author's PoV

"Hakyeonie! Where's Taekwoonie?" Jumi asked as she noticed Leo wasn't in the dorm. N shrugged, "I don't know. Lately he has been remotely quiet like years back." N commented.

"Come to think of it noona, he's been acting strange too. Looking at his phone and seconds later, he's walking out the door, muttering an 'I'm going out'." Hyuk butted in.

Jumi was feeling more uncomfortable than before.

"We thought at first that you two must be having a date with you and since he was in a bad mood, it was better to stay and to not bother you two," N looked at Hyuk, "But knowing Leo, he doesn't act like that when it comes to you."

"Leo hyung's a lovesick puppy when it comes to you, noona." Hyuk added.

Jumi's forehead creased more, questions popped up her mind one after the other. Her guts were telling her something's going on with Leo. Something's not right, that's for sure.

She sighed, and everyone gasped. "What? What's wrong?" Jumi asked, surprised by everyone's reaction. "It's the first time you sighed..." Hongbin breathed, suddenly discussing something with the rest with serious expressions.

"This is some serious matter..." N mumbled and they all nodded, making Jumi tilt her head in confusion.

The next day, was the same like the past ones. Leo was out to go on a date with Hayeon once again, which only Hayeon enjoys because she could finally kiss him on the lips whenever she pleases.

But this time, Leo wanted to get away.

He stopped in his tracks and looked down his shoes. Why do I have to follow Hayeon? I can protect Jumi from her, right? I am a man, and I should be protecting my lady. He thought.

He turned his heel and went back, dialing Jumi's phone.

[Taekwoonie~!] Jumi cheerfully answered her phone. "Jumi, where are you?" Leo asked, worry lacing his tone. [I'm at home. Waeyo?] "Jumi, please listen to me carefully." He pleaded, "Please, don't let any strangers in. In fact, don't let anyone else in."
There was silence on the line, [Okay,] Jumi answered unsurely, wondering why Leo sounds a little frantic. "Wait for me, I'm coming over." Leo said before he hung up.

He proceeded down the streets and waited at the bus stop, on his way to Jumi's house. But even before he could ride the bus, Hayeon was already meters away from Jumi's house.

She smirked, "I knew you would betray me, Leo oppa."

She had put her innocent and gentle facade on, before stepping in front of Jumi's house. She pressed the doorbell once, and she saw Jumi peek through the curtains by the window.

Hayeon smiled, "Jumi-ssi, it's nice to finally meet you. I'm Son Hayeon, Leo oppa's old neighbor and friend. Do you mind if I take your time?"

Jumi grinned, taking the bait. She opened the door and greeted Hayeon kindly, "It's nice to meet you too, Hayeon ah." Jumi accepted her and made come inside, giving her cookies fresh from the oven with a glass of strawberry milk.

All of the kindness and courtesy Jumi showed to Hayeon made her guts churn in a strange way. There was some undescribable confusion in her heart and it made her feel uncomfortable despite the thing Jumi do to make her feel at home.

Jumi smiled at her, waiting for her feedback when she took a bite of her cookies. "How's the taste? Do you like it?" She asked excitedly, and Hayeon forcibly smiled, not denying that it tastes good. "It's delicious. I like it."

"I'm glad you do, I can make more for you to bring home if you want." Jumi chirped and Hayeon nodded with another smile, "Thank you Jumi-ssi. I would appreciate that."

Jumi blushed, excusing herself and going to the bathroom. Hayeon drank her strawberry milk and went to the kitchen, grabbing a knife with hands slightly shaking.

She hid the knife behind her, and went in the bathroom, surprising Jumi. "Hayeon-ssi? Are you going to use the bathroom?" Jumi wondered and saw a glimpse of the silver object in Hayeon's hands.

"H-Hayeon-ssi?" Jumi stuttered, her eyes glistened with fear. While she was taking little steps back, Hayeon was stepping forward with eyes blinded by jealousy and hate, showing no sign of mercy and hesitation.

"This means goodbye Jumi-ssi." She devilishly smiled, "There can be only one," she venomously spat, raising the knife in the air, ready to strike.

"Which is me."

She swung the knife, hitting Jumi by the arms, and stabbed her near the heart, watching Jumi hit her head on the wall and fall on the tub. Blood oozed out and started to pool in the tub, staining Jumi's dress that was once printed with floral designs.

Hayeon smiled at what she did, which soon turned into a flat line. She ran out of the bathroom, making her way to the exit of the house, bumping into Leo's chest.

"O-Oppa." Hayeon gasped. Leo's expression darkened, seeing small blood stains on her. "What did you do..." Leo growled, making Hayeon grew terrified and scared, his figure towering over her, "Oppa, I--" Hayeon was harshly pushed away, falling down the carpeted floor.

Ken was there and called the ambulance, telling the complete address. He walked past Hayeon, trying hard to stay calm and not hurt the girl and he could only glare at her for now.

Leo rushed to two rooms, before seeing Jumi bloodied on the tub. "J-Jumi." Leo cried and carefully lifted her out the tub, holding her like she was the most fragile object on earth, afraid that she would shatter and he would lose her.

"J-Jumi, wake up," Leo croaked, "Don't fall asleep." His voice cracked and Jumi opened her eyes, but not as wide as usual. She opened her mouth to speak, but no sound came out, so she squeezed his hand instead.

"Please," tears fell from his eyes. "D-don't leave me" Leo whispered, his lips quivering. Jimin shook her head weakly, squeezing her hand with all the strength she had left.

The rest of the members came with the police and ambulance, flooding the house and taking Jumi away from Leo, driving straight to the hospital.

Hayeon got carried away by the police, death glares were sent her way when she walked past VIXX. "What did she do huh?!" Ken bursted, "She did nothing but love and get hurt! Are you heartless?! Michyeosseo?!"

"What did she do to deserve this from you huh?!" This time N was the one shouting angrily at her, he was fumed with anger. They were only being stopped by policemen from further trouble, add the fact that they are idols.

Ravi scoffed, "Are you that heartless and selfish? To such extent that you would do this?" glaring at Hayeon while she cowered in fear. This was the first time she saw her idols dead serious and angry, especially at her.

"Killing an innocent soul for your own benefit?!"
