Wedding Anniversary Visit

Hongbin's PoV

I faced the window as the van moves, looking at the streets filled with people, passing by random buildings. The light turned red and our van came to a stop.

Out the window I had a clear view of the hospital. As I was about to shift my attention to the other window side of the van, someone caught my attention from my peripheral vision.

"Jumi?"

Why would Jumi be going in the hospital? I quickly called everybody's attention. "Yah yah yah, Jumi's at the hospital!" and everyone quickly asked, "Where?"

I pointed the girl not that far from us in a blue thick jacket outside the window, near the entrance of the hospital. "What is she doing there? Omo, who is she going to visit?" N asked.

"It couldn't be her mother, right?" Ravi said. "Yeah she said her mom and dad are fine." Hyuk said. "How about you call her, Hongbin?" Ken suggested and I nodded. I placed the phone into a loudspeaker mode as soon as Jumi picked up and I told them to keep quiet.

"Yeoboseyo?" I called out. [Hongbinie? Waeyo? Is Taekwoonie alright? Is he feeling better?] she bombarded me with questions. "Aigoo Jumi ah, hyung's feeling better now thanks to you." I simply answered honestly.

"Jumi ah, where are you?" I asked, testing her if she would tell the truth. [M-Me? I'm staying at home.] she said and as I looked at what she was doing, she was playing with her jacket's zipper. Must be her habit when she's lying.

"She's lying." Ravi whispered so that Jumi wouldn't hear it. "At home? Why is it noisy?" I asked her and she kept on playing with her jacket's zipper. [W-Well, I'm just watching a strange footage right now.] she lied.

Is she hiding something from us?

"Ah, arasseo. Can I ask some permission from your parents about something right now?" I asked, testing her again. I have a feeling that she's really hiding something from us about her parents.

[B-But...they're sleeping right now. They're tired.] she lied again. She kept covering up about her parents. [How about you Hongbinie?] she asked. "Me? I'm in my room. We're preparing for our performance later." I lied too. We're actually in the van now.
