The weeks seemed to drag on. I had practically finished all my finals for the semester and graduation was just around the corner. That only meant one thing. It was that much closer to the beginning of the tour.

I had never really gotten nervous for a performance before, but this was one like we've never had; a crowd bigger than we've ever performed in front of. I think I had all rights to be nervous. At least a little. Thankfully we had another practice at Jeremy's tonight. I always looked forward to hanging out with the guys after a long day. I'm glad that out of anyone, they'd be the one's I'd be sharing a van with for the next few months.

Like always, everyone had already beat me there.

"Hey" I said, making my way down his basement steps. They turned around from their chairs flashing me smiles, holding up their drinks.
"Come have one" Jason insisted. I went over to the cooler and popped open the cap on Jeremy's old end table. I heard him sigh.
"What did I tell you guys about that?" I laughed, plopping down on the couch.

"So what do you guys talk about before I get here?" I asked, taking a big sip.
"Mainly about all the groupies we're gonna have." Sam said. Jason high-fived him. I rolled my eyes.
"Why is that all you care about?"
"K, you're the only one who doesn't care about that kind of stuff, you couldn't possible understand. I can't possibly understand why you haven't thought of this." I gave them a small smile, shrugging my shoulders.
"It's just stupid, and it complicates things. I don't understand why you would want to get involved like that. It's nothing but unnecessary drama and then it ends and you feel like shit and it's a never ending cycle."

Jason took another sip of his drink.
"Kira, how do you even write songs?" He laughed. The guys joined in. I shrugged.
"You can write about things other than hooking up with people." I heard Sam sigh.
"It's not just about hooking up with people, Kira. It feels good to like someone, and have someone like you back. It doesn't always have to be shit." I shook my head.
"But it's never that simple. Never."
"One day, Kira. One day you're gonna fall hard for a guy and you're not gonna know what hit you. And then you'll come running back to us like 'damn, you guys were right.'" I couldn't help but laugh.

"That's never gonna happen."
"Well.." Jeremy said, trying to change the subject. He pulling out his phone. "The guys from Sleeping With Sirens texted me today. Well, Kellin did. Not gonna lie, the teenage girl in me freaked out a little bit. But he filled us in on everything that's gonna go down these next few months." I rolled my eyes.
"What, did he tell you to make sure you stay out of his dressing room?" I snapped. He smirked.
"You'd think, but no, Kira. He actually seems like a pretty chill guy." I rolled my eyes.
"I'm sure.." He sighed.
"Do you want to know what's gonna happen or not?" He asked.
"Yes!" Sam shouted. I laughed. Sam always got worked up over things like this.
"Just tell us, Jeremy." He proceeded to read through the text, giving us times, and locations and dates and it was pretty overwhelming. And to think those guys were used to this. They did this all the time. I couldn't wait until I could say this was a normal routine for me.

"And he said he's really excited to meet us" Jason smirked over at me. "I think we all know what that means" He said, nudging me with his elbow.
"Will you stoppppp.." I whined. "That doesn't mean anything."
"Oh come on, Kira. Of course it means something." I laughed
"No Jeremy, it just means he's excited to have us. Maybe. Maybe he's just trying to be nice. He doesn't even know us. He's just somehow heard out music. Luckily. How could he be excited to see me? Stop trying to read into these things. I don't know why you continue to bring this up."
"Because we know it makes you mad. Why, I have no idea, but it does." I could feel my cheeks burning.
"It doesn't make me mad. It just annoys me."

"Just embrace it, Kira." Jason chimed in. "You're gonna be the only girl on this tour. And let's face it, you're hot. Why else would we let you be our front woman." I laughed, tossing one of the couch pillows in his direction. He swiftly avoided it.
"But it's true, Kira. Plenty of guys are gonna be going after you. That's what happens on tour."

"Well, then they're going to be pretty disappointed."
