HIDDEN SECRETS

ONE

Alex's POV:

"oh..my..gosh...i-i c-can-n't b-believe he said that!" said my friend laughing and i don't see her stopping anytime soon.

"Ugh.. Jen! Shut up would you?" i yelled at her clearly pissed. This might seem a bit confusing so let's go back 20 minutes.

Me and Jenna were walking home from "Jake's Cafe" where she works everyday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. And since our houses were right opposite of each other's we walk home everyday after her shift is done. But today there was a lot of rush and her boss asked her to take another shift which lasted till 8 o'clock. After she was done we started walking home and were two blocks away when two guys started coming towards us from the other side of the street.

"Hey pretty ladies, where are you two headed?" said one of them grinning and coming close to us... too close for my comfort.. There's a thing called personal space for god's sake!

"None of your business" i snapped at him taking a step back.

"Ouch, is someone on their period?" said the other guy winking and smirking. Oh HE DID NOT JUST SAY THAT!!

"Both of you leave before i punch you so hard that you won't wake up tomorrow!" i screamed at them pulling my hands into fists.

"Dude, let's just go! We'll see you when your not so feisty then, honey" said the second one smirking and left us.

And that was when Jen started cracking up and that explained why i was clearly pissed. I've never walked on the streets after 8 p.m. because my brother wouldn't let me. I guess now i know why. 

"Alex!!! Earth to Alex!!!!!" my best friend wasn't calling me, rather she was shouting. She was so loud that i bet my brother would come out of the house which was two houses away to see if i was okay.

"What? now you're giving me the silent treatment??" she questioned, "fine, be that way! But you do know i'm your ride to school right?" she reminded me grinning.

I mentally face palmed myself. Ugh i hated it when she was right.

"Fine.. but you will not tell anyone what happened tonight!" i told her seriously.

"haha.. fine girl chill out," she said "alright i'll see you in the morning at 7."

I looked at her like she was crazy "We have holidays Jen."

"Baby girl, today's the last day of our holidays and tomorrow is the first day of our senior year!!"

Now i literally face palmed myself. God! How can i forget??

"Ughh why do holidays have to end so soon!!" i exclaimed and suddenly remembered something "hey don't we have to get our schedules??"

"Already took care of that" she said winking, " you and me have two classes together! Spanish and Advanced calculus and lunch if you count it as a class! Here's your schedule, i went to the school in the morning and forgot to give it to you."

I took a look at my schedule and saw that my first class was advanced biology, second was English, third Spanish then lunch and advanced calculus after that and at last chemistry. Call me a nerd but they sure help in college and the only reason i didn't take advanced chemistry was because i hated it.

"I have advanced chemistry first and biology last" said Jen, clearly she was the opposite of me.

"Alexandra! You plan on sleeping outside today or something??" i heard my brother Ty yell from the doorstep of our house. Woah! He hasn't used my full name in a while. Either he's completely pissed or extremely happy.
