Alex's POV:
"Aleexx! Tomorrow you're gonna be 18!!" yelled Jenna.
I covered my ears with my hands and said, "well it looks like i'll be deaf before that happens".
She smiled sheepishly and said, "sorry". I just shake my head and look out the window. I can't believe it's September again. Fall has started and i could feel the air becoming cooler everyday. I liked this kind of weather, it was really.. soothing. I used to enjoy summer before, but not anymore. I just feel like what happened that day four years ago was my fault. Only if I hadn't...
"Hey, we're here. Come on, let's go," said Jason, interrupting my thoughts.
We pulled into the parking lot of our school and got out of the car and leaned against it until the bell rang. We see the same environment every year and it just doesn't change. On the other side of the lot there are a bunch of cheerleaders surrounded by football jocks. All the way at the end of the lot the science geeks are there doing an experiment as always. It's the first day of school and they already started. I don't think they'll give up until they blow up the school. I rolled my eyes at that thought.
"What is annoying YOU so much?" asked Alex obviously noticing my eye roll.
"Just wondering when the science are going to blow up this school"
"Oh, that would be pretty soon i'm sure," said Jen copying my eye roll.
As Alex, was about to say something, the bell rang and all of us headed towards our homeroom. As I was walking, most of the girls were whispering about something. Usually I wouldn't care what they were talking about but what got me curious was that all of them were talking about the same thing. I heard something in the lines of "...the new guy... mysterious...don't know where he's from..." I just shook my head of the thoughts and entered my homeroom.
I did not want this on the first day of school. As we walked into the class we saw Tiffany Chanel, the head cheerleader and her 'group' huddled around in a group gossiping about every single thing they could find. That's not what got me annoyed. What got me so annoyed was that they were huddled around MY desk. I seriously wanted to push them out of the way. Well basically almost the whole school wants to punch them in the face.
"Excuse me, do you mind getting off of my desk?" i asked as politely as my voice allowed me to.
And the next thing i know she started laughing. You see why i would like to punch her?
"Is your name written on this desk or something?" she asked without even turning around. Oh would i just love to push her off the desk for her attitude. I glared at the back of her head.
"Ms. Chanel, please get off the desk," said Ms.Kim as she entered the classroom. Thank you Ms.Kim! For entering the class before i pushed her off. As she sat at her desk everyone returned to they're seats. She took our attendance in five minutes and sent us to our next respective classes.
The rest of the day actually went by quickly since it was the first day of our senior year and the teachers didn't teach us much. The bell rang at 2:30 and i waited for Jenna and Jason near the car. I started looking around the lot listening to what was going on around me. Most of them were talking about what they did over the summer. And a few were looking at the other side of the lot and whispering. I look towards where they were looking at to find a guy leaning on the tree. He was about 6 foot tall wearing dark blue jeans, black shirt and a black hoodie covering his head. I guess he was the one people were talking about. He lifted his head and looked straight at me as if he knew I was looking. I immediately turned my head the other way. I wonder who he is. I've never showed interest in guys but this one is so mysterious that i want to know. When i looked back at him, he was gone. I searched the lot but couldn't find him anymore. It was like he was never there.
