"Closed for Business" a banner read on the empty building, previously an unsuccesful dress shop. The shop was owned by an elderly woman, Milda, who was thought to have suffered a stroke. The doctors aren't sure what happened, but assumed she was experiencing a panic attack, for whatever reason, that lead to her death. She died at the age of 87, leaving her shop and all of its content to her son, Eric. He wasn't much of a designer type of guy so he kept the store open until everything was sold. Then Eric put the vacancy for sale.

Taped on the window was a large poster that said "Vacant Room For Sale. Contact at 555-890-3462 for more information."

Rumor has it that the woman Milda actually experienced her death in that building. She was pronounced dead in the hospital an hour after she was discovered unconscious on the floor by a customer. But no one knows when the stroke actually took place. Therefore the building is, so called, "haunted".

It was three and a half weeks when the room was put up for sale. All the teenagers in town say that it is jinxed, and that everyone who has tried to buy it declined the offer at the last minute. Maybe the buyers just found a better room for sale. But for all we know, it's possible that woman doesn't want anyone who is unworthy to own her shop.

She had no grandchildren. Her son was already an adult, and her husband died several years ago. So running her shop and making dresses was her life. The store had been Milda's home from since she was a little girl. Her great grandmother passed it down to her grandmother, to her mom, and then her.

Eric decided to not take the path of owning his family's business. He never helped his mother run it when he was younger. He and his wife decided they would rather have a family than put there life into a dress shop. Neither of the two even knew how to sew. And Eric would gladly accept the money from whomever bought the old building to put toward his children they planned to have.
