The Wild Ride

Chapter 1

  Once upon a time there was a girl who never asked for anything. When Christmas came around she never made a Christmas list, but she still got presents. When she went to the store with someone she wouldn't ask for anything, knowing that she would get it. This girl was named Annmarie Oloroso and she was a smart, loving young girl and everyone in her family just adored her. As you can tell she wasn't selfish or mean to anyone. In fact every year on her birthday she would receive money, but she would never spend it on herself she would in fact donate it to the children's hospital that she would go to everyday after school, and read and help the children and make them happy. She had best friends and the greatest parents that would always make her happy and make her laugh. But there isn't always greener on the other side.

  It was Annmarie's birthday and her parents were at the store getting her a present. Anna was at the children's hospital reading to some kids then something terrible happened. The news channel was on but you don't need it when you're in a hospital. All of a sudden all of the nurses and doctors started running every witch way and there where people and children coming through the front doors. Anna walked out of the room and when she did she saw her mother and father on one of the rolling beds getting rushed into the emergency room. Anna's parents were covered in blood that means that something terrible had happened to them but what?!

  Anna quickly ran to the tv and turn the volume up high and then she heard the news anchor. "There has been a terrible accident at the local Walmart. An earthquake happened out of nowhere and many people and children where engendered during and after the earthquake! Everyone there are going to the Children's Hospital since it's the closest hospital in the city."Anna couldn't believe that her parents where in the hospital, she thought it was all her fault. She thought that since she was born her parents though that they had to get her a gift and that if born then her parents wouldn't be in this huge mess.

  After an hour and half of it of her crying the doctor came to her and he knew Anna because he sees her reading to the children every day plus he's was her doctor since she was 13 years old. "Anna I'm sorry to tell you this but, well we tried everything we could do but the damages were to terrible." the doctor said. Just from him saying that Anna knew what he was going to say. This wasn't the first time she heard him say this. Anna comforts children that had just lost their siblings or cousins, so she knew what he was going to say. "I'm sorry but your parents died. Again i'm so sorry."

  Anna was so upset she didn't know what to do, she had never felt like this before. Anna hard already known that they weren't going to make it because when she saw them going to the emergency room she was able to see all the damage that was done to them. She was studying to be a doctor when she got to college which was 3 years from now but a girl can dream.Since she didn't know what to do she ran as fast as she could to the emergency room that her parents were in, went in-between their bodies and cried and screamed out "BRING THEM BACK PLEASE! I've never asked for anything in my hole life! PLEASE just do this one thing for me PLEASE!" She was looking up to the sealing because she was talking, well yelling to god and what she said was true.

Anna always prayed for everyone would be as happy as her and she never wished for something because she never needed to. The doctor and a nurse followed her and saw her doing this. Anna was causing too much commotion and everyone started to stare at her and parents started coming out of there rooms to see where the voice was coming from. The doctor tried to calm her down. But how can you calm down a young girl when her parents had just died?

The doctor called Anna's grandmother since it was the only emergency number he had for Anna. Her grandmother came into the hospital and she was starting to look for Anna. Anna's grandmother went to the front desk and asked where Anna was. The nurse pointed towards the waiting room and then showed her to the waiting room."Anna!?" her grandmother said.Anna turned around and her eyes were puffy from all of the crying she was doing, she got up from her seat and ran to her grandmother. Her grandmother put her arm as wide as she could, when Anna got to into her grandmother's arms her grandmother started to cry, for she realized that she has no one but Anna and that her daughter had died faster then she could say "I love you." "Come on let's go home." her grandmother said with a smile and a tear going down her cheek.

Anna's grandmother lives far away it's almost a 2 hour drive to her farm. When Anna was little she used to go to her grandmother's farm every weekend but then her mom got in a huge fight with her grandmother and she was never aloud to go there again. It's been awhile since she's been to the farm and she doesn't know what it looks like anymore because the last time she went there she was almost 7 and now she's 17 so she's almost aloud to be on her own.

One more and she could be on her own Anna thought to herself while looking out the window of the front seat. She tried to not talk to her grandmother while they were driving to her farm, but her grandmother tried talking to her. "So do you have a crush at this school you're going to right now!?" her grandmother asked. Anna looked at her grandmother being so surprise she would ask her that, she said nothing and went back to looking out the window. "Oh, well you know Jackson Carmichael still goes to the farm to help me with the animals,and you know he asks about you all the time, do you remember him Anna!?" she said.Anna looked at her once more then started to blush. Jackson Carmichael was a boy that would play with her when she had no one else, and she might have a little crush on him.Jackson was a year older than him so he's 18 right now.

"REALLY?! I mean really!?" she said with her face becoming as read as the tomatoes that her grandmother grew. "Ah, so you do remember him and maybe still even have a crush on him?" her grandmother replied to her reaction. " WHAT NO! I mean I don't even know what he looks like anymore, it's been so long and besides he doesn't even know what I look like anymore."she said as she slid down the seat while shrugging. "Why of course he does I show him pictures of you all the time when you put them on Facebook." she said as she started to look at Anna."WHAT GRANDMA!!" she replied then started to blush even more."I can't believe you some of those made me look dumb and crazy!" "So why did you post them?" her grandma said as she started to make a devious grin at Anna and at the road. Then Anna was speechless, she couldn't come up with a reason for why she posted them so she just changed the subject, but before she could say something her grandma's phone started to ring. How convenient for her grandma she thought to herself.

"Hello this Patty Smith.Oh, hello Jackson... Yes she's with me right now infact we were just talking about you!... Yes all good things or would you like me to tell her about the pig bath?!... Alright I won't I'll tell her later!... I'll ask her, hey Anna, Jackson would like to talk to him would you like to talk to him?" she said to me after talking to Jackson. Anna waved her hands no because she was 1. indares, and 2. afraid of what he might say. " She would love to hers Anna.!" Then Anna started whispering no while her grandma was putting the phone up to her ear, then Anna had to talk to him. Thanks alot grandma she thought to herself.

"Um, hello this is Anna" she said as she started to get nervous."Hello Anna I'm so excited to see you again and I'm so sorry about your parents they where great people." he said making Anna happy. "Thanks and really, you're excited to see me?" she said as she started to smile and blush. "Well yeah, cuz that means that my best friend will be coming back!" he said making her blush. "Awww, really that's so sweet."she replied to him. " Yeah well I got to get back to the horses but I'll be there when you get here bye!" he said then Anna replied ok and goodbye. Anna hanged up the phone and put it up to her chest and looked at the car sealing with a big smile. Then she looked at her grandma and her grandma gave her a devious smile once more. "What! What did i do!?" she said as she started to smile. Her grandma said nothing but she kept the smile on her face until they got to the farm.
