"You have to do it!" Elsa screams as I spin my lock to punch in the combination. I laugh as I pop the lock and open my locker. I put everything into it's designated places. It drives me crazy when stuff is out of place. Imagine what my room looks like. It could be a museum with everything in its' rightful place.

"No wonder you have never had a boyfriend! You are so controlling, you organized my locker for me last week." Elsa tells me laughing as I check my makeup in the little pink mirror on the side of my locker door. It is a little circle that is blue and has little diamond accents. My mother used to work at a jewelry store, before the accident. The little things that I have, with diamonds or jewels, keep her alive within me. Even though she isn't here, I do not want to, no I will not, let her down. I grab the things I need for Culinary and History, shoving them violently into my backpack with, of course, organizing the subjects by color, they are color coordinated, and by size in order of the last two hours of my day. Although I can't really bring anything to Culinary, I bring a notebook anyway.

"No offense," I tell her closing my locker and locking my lock, "but your man is no bachelor either!" I tell Elsa walking away from my locker towards the cafeteria as we make small talk. We walk towards the cafeteria and once we arrive we sit at our usual table. It is towards the middle of the room, but at the very middle are the jocks. aka, hot guys central. Of course, Jack sits there. He sits with all of his friends and he is absolutely gorgeous today. As I stand in line for my lunch, I see Jack get in line behind me. My heart starts to race and my breathing picks up. I feel two arms slide around my waist.

"Do I make you nervous or are you just very excited for hamburger mush on your plate today?" Jack's deep voice questions with hints of laughter, and as soon as I turns around I see him walking away, back to his table to eat with his friends. Really? Why do I have to like him so much? As I grab my food, I can't even pay attention to what I am grabbing. I move mindlessly towards my table leaving the kind lunch lady with a sincere thank you. As I sit down in my usual spot, the one on the very end. Elsa sits next to me and two of our other friends, Abbey and Samantha, sit down across from us. Elsa of course jumps right to the cause of me; however, it is specifically my love life. Fantastic.

"Guess who Blair is meeting up with later?" Elsa asks rhetorically, making the four o us burst out laughing.

"Who? Jack, only the hottest guy in school?" Sam asks sarcastically, looking at Abbey and chuckling. I blush instantly and look down, peeling my orange quickly.

"How'd you guess?" Elsa says smiling. I glance at Sam and Abbey and they stare in shock me.

"Seriously?" They ask in union. I shake my head up and down slowly, glancing at Jack to see if he heard even a word of what my friends have been saying. He is staring right at me. His ice blue eyes lock with my deep blue ones. It is as if time has stopped and all that matters is him and I. He smirks and looks away, leaving me with his beautiful face engraved into my mind.

"Blair? Blair? Blair!" Elsa yells into my ear and I snap out of Jake's magical trance and look at her.

"In a trance are we?" She asks smirking. I roll my eyes and get up to dump my tray. The bell rings and I grab my backpack. I head to History, dreaming about Culinary where Jack and I can sneak glances at each other but still do our work. Lucky us, today we are making steak.

All through History I dream about Culinary. It makes me so hungry I can not wait for the bell to ring. We talk about the Revolution and George Washington and the Boston Massacre. I could fall asleep! The bell rings and I grab my bag, practically sprinting to Culinary. Why? Jack sits right behind me, and I can feel my blood chilling already.
