Chapter 9

Colton's Pov

I woke up and looked at the time "Oh shit I'm late for school" I said. My mom said if she gets a phone call saying I'm late to first period again she's taking away my phone I have the iPhone 6s plus. I can't afford getting my phone taken away it's like my baby i know weird. I didn't have enough time to take a shower so I just got out my clothes I got out a grey t-shirt my black knee ripped jeans and a black jacket I threw on my black shoes then looked at myself in the mirror and I didn't have enough time to put the work in my hair so it just looked messy i brushed my teeth quickly grabbed my book bag,phone and a banana then left. I got to school and ran to the office ms. Baker already new I was late "Mr. Barrette I'm gonna have to call your mom because you are 1 hour late to school." Debra come on I thought we were homies." But she wasn't going with it so I said "What if I could get you plane tickets to Hawaii."Mr. Barrette are you trying to bribe me." Oh shit now I'm in worse trouble. "Uh uh uh" I said I didn't know  what to say then she leaned in and said "How soon can you get the tickets I want to get out of this hell hole." I stared stunned "I reached in my bag and pulled out 2 tickets. It  was suppose to be for me and Ethan as a suprise cause he always said how he wanted to go but I don't need them anymore. "Ok so are we cool."You got here on time Mr. Barrette congratulations." I smirked "oh wait what are you gonna say to my first period teacher." She thought about it "I'll just say you had some sickness and couldn't make it." Thanks Debra" she smiled "yah yah" then the bell rang. It was time for 2nd period I walked down the halls and as usual girls looked at me with lust and desire and guys looked at me with envy. I saw my friends and told them practice after school then I went to my 2nd period class. I got there right before the late bell rang. I walked to my seat dumb slut was already there she sits next to me we have like almost every class together. There's  only 1 class and that's cause I take art and she takes piano. So I sat down in my seat got out my stuff and was looking for a pencil. "Oh shit" I whispered to myself I looked to my right we're this geek was sitting next to me. "Hey john" he turned "It's Joseph" he said "Oh sorry uh can I borrow a pencil." Sorry I only have this one" is fucking serious aren't nerds suppose to be stacked for the rest of the year with utensils. I let out a frustrated breath and looked to my left at Elena she was writing down whatever bullshit the teacher was saying. I smirked at her she gets these crinkles on her nose when she's really concentrated on something. It's kinda cute wait what Then she turned and looked at me."Um can I help you" oh shit I was staring like a creepy ass weirdo. "Uh yah I need a pencil bitch." She looked at me like I was insane. "Colton a.k.a idiot do you think I'm giving you anything when not even a second ago you called me a bit" I'm sorry am I interrupting something Mr. Barrette and Ms. Peterson."Oh shit we both slowly turned our heads forward and the whole class was staring at us. Then I said "Uh actually you are." He looked taken back at my blunt ness. "Well please share with the whole class" this is the time to start getting at her."Ok I was just asking if she would resend me those nudes that didn't go through last night." The whole class gasped I turned to look at Elena and I swear here mouth was hanging all the way to the desk. "Detention for the both of you."What I can't have detention It's going to go on my record and Yale will see" Elena yelled. "Well Ms. Peterson you should have thought about that." Then the bell rang I got up and left. I was walking to my next class when someone pulled me in an empty class room. I looked and it was Elena "What the fuck do you want slut." Are you fucking serious Colton do you know how hard I worked and worked to try and get into Yale. They probably won't accept me now." I rolled my eyes "Bitch it's only one detention chill." Then she started crying I haven't saw her cry in since we were just kids I kind of felt bad."You can mess with me Colton all you want well you already do that but I'll be damned if I let you mess with my future. Just cause you don't or won't have one Doesn't mean you can just do that kind of stuff. Not to mention the fact the school thinks I'm a whore. I'm sorry Colton for what ever I did to you when we were younger and if this is you getting back at me then fine. But karma's a bitch so I hope your ready have nice life." Then she walked out ok now I feel like utter shit and I don't know why cause I usually don't care about her feelings. I stood there stunned for a bit then I went to my next class." Finally the day is over....for everyone else not me cause I have detention. During lunch I told Ethan he can fill in for me. He came to practice but oddly wasn't in school all day I don't know. So I walked to room 236 the music room on the second floor and Elena wasn't there so I gave Ms. Harper my detention slip "Always a pleasure seeing you Mr. Barrette." I smirked "always a pleasure being here" I gave her my signature wink then sat down. 1 minute later Elena walks in I can tell she had been crying." Here you go" she said handing her detention slip over. Then she turned around and we made eye contact she immediately broke it and sat in the front of the classroom. "Ok I'm gonna be gone for a little while can you guys manage without a grownup for a little while." We both nodded our heads then she left not before locking us in the classroom what if I have to take a piss. I looked over at Elena she was just sitting there on her phone. Ms. Harper for some reason Doesn't take phones even though she's suppose to. I got up and went over to Ms. Harpers desk to see if she had any food. "Bingo" I said pulling out a big bag of Doritos. "Your not suppose to be doing that" Elena said I looked at her crazy "Elena have you not gotten into your head that I will do whatever the fuck I want." Then she went back to her phone I went back to my seat and say there chomping on my chips loudly so I could annoy Elena she turned around and said "Can you fucking eat like a normal person." I shrugged she breath out a sigh and got up she went over to the piano and started messing around with keys. I started getting really annoyed "Uh Hey Elena I was wondering can you fucking stop." I yelled but she kept on playing I let out a frustrated sigh. Then kicked my feet up on my desk out my hands behind my head and closed my eyes. This is going to be a long fucking detention I thought to myself.
