Hey guys sorry it's been so long. At this point I have no excuse other than school and sports. So for Debby it looks like mostly Artemis or Zeus or Poseidon. Which ever one of these have more comments I'll use that parent.
Thanks guys
~CarmenDear Friend,
Next we had to wait for him to "figure out how to say this" for a good 10 minutes before Percy stood up and said "Dyl, you have about 5 second to start explaining.""Okay okay sorry." He said. "So basically I found out about the guy from Debby's books. I figured you got them from a book store but there aren't that many near where you live. So there weren't that many to go through. Only one I found had a book title "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" so I figured that's what it was. When I picked up the book a dude behind the counter was staring at me like I wasn't supposed to be doing something. The guy came up to me and told me he was Rick Riordan the author and then told me to put it back and leave. He was waiting for someone else to come and get it, but that I could come back sometime next week and get another. So I left and the next day I came to class to check on Deb and she had the book. And so I called Chiron and told him to send you."
"So is this Riordan guy a threat? Because If not I'd really love his autograph in a book." I said raising a hand.
Percy looked over at me. "Do you have a copy with you?"
"Of course, it's in the cabin though." I said "I'll go get it."
I started to walk off when I felt someone walking next to me. I looked to my left and Dylan was there. Why? I wasn't sure at the time. I walked with my head down.
"I have a question" he asked
"I may have an answer" I said looking up and over at him.
"If you're 16, what the Hades are you doing in middle school?" He said.
We turned to go up the stairs to the cabin. "I was homeschooled after my sister... Never mind. I was homeschooled then my foster parents didn't have the degree to teach me the higher subjects so they sent me there." I walked over to my bag in the corner and grabbed the book and we headed back to Percy. "How did you pass as a middle schooler?"
"I played dumb mostly." He said matter-of-factly.
"Was it hard?" I broke out laughing. I guess he didn't get the joke, then again, he hasn't read the books. His loss.
When we got back to Percy he was standing next to a beautiful blonde girl with stormy grey eyes. I almost dropped to the floor and died.
Though a squeal did slip through my lips."You're Annabeth Chase. Daughter of Athena. Holy schist."
Wow, I though, way to come off creepy a f."Um yeah." She said. "Percy told me about you." She smiled and hugged me. Annabeth Chase. The Annabeth Chase hugged me.
"And I see you and Dylan have gotten pretty well aquatinted..."
"What?" Dylan said "no." I could see him blushing but I decided not to point it out. I most likely was too.
"Anyway" Percy said,
"We need to talk to Chiron. Now.""It's almost dinner Perc, we can talk to him then." Annabeth said.
"Okay. Let's head there now." Percy said leading the way hand in hand with Annabeth.
"You'll have to sit with the Hermes cabin at dinner, Deb." Dylan said and I shook my head 'okay' in response.
We walked into the mess hall and it was huge. It had so many tables already full of demigods. I'm not gonna lie it was intimidating. I didn't belong among these heroes. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "It's just dinner right? What could go wrong?"
