Chapter 5/ Smile For Me

-Craig's P.O.V-

Before Taya came into the picture, I did have hoes. And a few girlfriends. 

But I threw them all away for her.  

I know some of them go to her school and still talk about it. But that's finna change, cause I'm transferring to watercrest to be with my baby.  

So all that shit them thots gotta say about us is for the birds. 

I get a text from her saying she needs to talk to me. 

Not jumping to conclusions but I think it's about the girls I used to talk to.  

I call her. 

"hello?"  

She sounds like she's been crying. 

"hey baby, what's wrong?"  

"will you meet me at dairy queen around the corner from quillary hospital" 

"will you tell me what's wrong??" 

"Craig, please." 

"okay, I'll be there in 5." 

*hangs up phone* 

Shit. I got a bad feeling bout this. 

*10 minutes later at dairy queen* 

I see Taya as i get out of the car and she looks so sad. The first thing she does when she sees me is gives a huge hug and doesn't let go for a long time. 

We order ice cream and sit down. 

"what's going on tea?" 

"...my sister. She had a seizure. And they say it's serious." 

"damn baby. Is she gonna be okay?" 

"I don't know. I hope so though." 

We finish eating our ice cream and walk for a bit. 

When I'm with this girl I feel as though I can do anything. And even though she's in mild mourning right now. I'm in a good mood and ready to comfort her. 

We get back to the frozen desserts restaurant and she kisses me and hugs me tightly. 

"call me if you wanna talk, tea." 

"roc. There's something else I need to talk to you about. Today...in my anatomy class. Some girl, was talkin bout you saying you go out with her, and that you transferring to my school to be with her. Is that true?" 

"shit. It's probably Mona, my ex fwb." I thought. 

"baby, don't listen to a word they say, cause 90% of it ain't true. Yes, I'm transferrin to your school, to be with you. And because most of my guys go there. But other than that I never went out with her. And why would i go out with her while I'm with you?" 

"I don't know roc, that's why I asked you." 

"I start at watercrest next week." 

"okay roc. I just needed to know that you wouldn't do me like that." 

"never tea. Never." 

We part ways and I go home. With a lot of confronting to do.

-Taya's P.O.V-

A whole week passes by. Me and Craig resolved our problem , and my dad is back home now. He got here Monday night, even though he said he would try to catch the jet, he couldn't. LuLu is still in the hospital. She woke up out of her coma but She had another seizure on Sunday.
