Chapter 18/great expectations

-Roc's P.O.V-

Damn, that was great. She made a nigga fall right to sleep. But nah for real, she does have ya boy whipped like I said earlier. I can't wait to see my future with this girl.

-Taya's P.O.V-

I get home and my dad is up, watching tv holding the baby.

"where were you?" he asks as though I didn't tell him where I was going before I left

"at my friends house, I told you before I left..."

"Taya, come sit down"

"yeah dad?"

"are you hiding something from me?"

"no, what do you mean?"

"who exactly is this friend whose house you've been going over?and didn't you have on different clothes before you left? Those look like a guy's clothes."

"Erin, dad. And we were painting her room" I ignore the clothes question.

"no it's not, because when I called over there she told me you weren't there."

Dammit.

*sighs* "okay dad. Um...the friend isn't really my friend, but my boyfriend. His name is Chresanto..."

"well why didn't you just tell me?"

"because I know how you are about that kind of stuff. Especially with LuLu"

Leian starts crying when her pacifier falls out of her mouth.

I bend down to pick it up and put it back in.

"Taya I know you, and how you wouldn't do half the things she's done"

"I understand now" I say

"well I want to meet this Chresanto guy. Soon."

"okay, when?"

"this weekend."

"I'm glad we had this talk baby girl." he says and tries giving me a hug but Leian is in the way.

"good night dad, and Leian."

I walk upstairs,trying not to whimper cause my legs are sore as hell from Roc, into LuLu's room to tell her what happened...

-LuLu's P.O.V-

This baby is wearing me out!! All this crying, diaper changing, feeding, and bathing is sooo tiring! Shes 3 weeks now. 3 straight weeks of sleep deprivation!

Right when I'm about to close my eyes, Taya runs in all cheery and wide awake jumping on my bed shaking me.

"what do you want girl" I say from under a pillow

"I gotta tell you bout tonight!!" she says smiling from ear to ear

I gasp "what happened???"

"....I got some" she says looking down and blushing hard as hell

"oh ma geeerrrd!! How was it?!"

"...he got me good. I mean when I say he put it down, he put it DOWN. Had a bitch sleep in a matter of seconds!!"

"damn!! Was it big"

"comcast remote big, girl."

"damnnn, I'm scared uh you girl get it!"

"haha yeah. Dad wanna meet him..."

"you told him about your boyfriend?? He really did put it on you, so hard you done went delusional!! That's a set up for failure, trust me."

"I don't think it'll be that bad Lu, roc is nice. And a gentlemen. Good with people. Especially adults."

"but is he good with Roc?"

"we'll see." I say

I'm happy for Taya. All these boys that have fucked her over and finally she's found one that cares, forreal about her. Maybe I'll find one, one day.

That'll accept me, and my lil Leian, for who we are.

*next day*(still LuLu's p.o.v)

I wake up to a text from Tito.

"can we meet up? Bring Leian."

To be honest, I don't even know if we're together anymore. And its all because of me. I mess up everything only thinking of myself. Like when he proposed, all I was thinking of, was myself. And I regret it, a lot. I know he meant it too, like he was going to propose even if I didn't have Leian. Cause I think he would change if we were married.

I get Leian ready and put her in her car seat on my bed while I change my shirt and out on some perfume.

We leave out, going to the IHOP up the street. He's already in the parking lot, leaning on his car.

I take Leian out and we start walking over to his car.

We get there and he's already smiling.

I give him a hug and peck on the lips and we walk inside.

I must admit, I do miss him. A lot.

We get a table and order, and while all that happens, he just stares at me...smiling.

"I missed you...and Leian." he says

That really makes me smile.

"I missed you too. Why'd you ask us to meet you here?"

"cause I wanted to see you. And I miss us."

"you do?"

"yeah baby. Tell me what I gotta do to get you on my team again."

"I don't know. I haven't made up my mind yet."

"well maybe this will" he says getting on one knee and pulling on a black little box

"wh...what are you doing?"

Not again

"LULU, MARINA KANTANA, BABY...BABY WILL YOU MARRY ME? I LOVE YOU, AND LEIAN. AND I WANNA BE TOGETHER WITH YOU ALL, FOREVER." he yells loud enough for everyone to hear.

"Tito, don't do this" I say with tears in my eyes

"please? I love you. So much."

By now, everybody was staring at us. And I was starting to cry.

I was so stupid to turn down this offer before, and I know he would take care of me. But we were to get married, he would have to stop slangin, and get a real job.

"y...yes Tito" I say surprised that I said yes.

Then he slips the ring on and it's...huge. Gorgeous. I can't believe this is actually happening.

The boy I've been with since I was a sophomore in high school just proposed to me, and we're gonna get married. And my dad is going to walk me down the isle and taya is going to be my maid of honor. And Leian will be in the front row with my grandparents, and they'll be crying. All of them. Even me.

Imagining that makes me even happier, and I can't control myself. I start crying hella hard happily, hugging him. Everyone starts to clap and applaud, but that wakes Leian up and she starts crying. He picks her up and cradles her in his arms sitting down.

This is could be the beginning of something good.
