IN THE CITY OF DREAMS

8: The Abduction

(Crimson's Mansion)

Evo's point of view:

I suddenly woke up in a shocked state and saw Crimson sleeping on my left arm while sitting on a chair. He slowly woke up because of my sudden movement.

"Hey, your awake now, how are you?" Crimson asked me with a sleepy tone.

"I uhmm, ahh what happened? Where is that Lady?" I asked with much curiosity.

"Calm down, she left when you fought her." Crimson replied while im blinking my eyes with amusement.

"Huh? I fought her? The last thing i remembered, she whipped me brutally that made me unconscious." I stated which made Crimson expressed an unexpected response.

"Gee, i guess you really do have a split personality. You were actually the one who par with her by summoning two zodiac warriors by your side, come to think of it, you did have a different kind of tone when you're battling her, your actions and voice tone are quite overwhelming and courageous." Crimson said while bringing water towards me from a coffee table.

"Hmm, i dont recall any but if thats so then im happy you're safe. Wait a minute, where are you cuts and bruises? Does wind magic has the ability to heal?" I asked frantically.

"Actually, you're the one who healed me before we both passed out. That's what i can remember." Crimson said and placed the glass back on the coffee table.

We continued chatting in the dining room and prepared to go the city hall to report the incident to Lord Gabriel.

(City Hall)

"Crimson, Evo, im glad you're safe." Lord Gabriel huskily said while we were all sitting on the red couch in the grand hall.

We have shared to Lord Gabriel the details of the attack based on what we can recall.

Lord Gabriel was already a bit aware of the incident from the information unit. He ordered the city gate to be guarded heavily and place barriers around to prevent any ability attacks from the outside.

I requested Crimson to take me to work today even if its only for half day because we've been in the city hall the whole morning.

Crimson rejected my request and instead, went to my work place just to file my immediate resignation. I was approved with no questions because Crimson was actually very popular to the office i've been working. Well i can't blame him having good looks, charm and being the city auditor. I cant even say NO because i remembered that i was bound to him by the rings we have.

We went back to the city hall for a sudden meeting of the highest order and it was my first time to meet everyone in person. I was deeply overwhelmed and dropped my jaw by each of their presence.

The highest order is composed of 7 level 5 who ranks the highest from each ability users. Three of them are female and no one is actually bad looking. All of them looked like their faces were carved by the Gods, they looked so perfect not to mention that everyone has their own unique costume though its actually their casual wear.

The highest order of Ardor is actually a female floating in a red gown engulfed in flames.

The highest order of bilge is a man with a cool staff that is engulf with blue light and water revolving from it. His suit is all blue with a cape shimmering like the ocean.

The highest order of terra is pretty scary, he is a man with a huge armor that looks so heavy with a big stone hammer.

The highest order of zephyr which is Crimson made sure he was not left behind. He was wearing an all white tuxedo with a cape and he was floating in the grand hall entering.
